PoE's unique system is a constant reminder for us to understand exactly why everyone cannot make a reality out of their dreams. It's impossible. You will never see a man faking anger, passion and relentless behavior. You will always see a man faking love, politeness and respectful behavior. If you cant be bothered to craft a better item thats not the games fault. Its your own decision to miss out on the extra damage because you cant be bothered paying the currency that is neccessary. How many people can actually afford this thing? Unlike lioneyes, which truly destroyed the bow market, soul taker is many orders of magnitude rarer and for all the hot air being blown in this thread, it will be quite sometime before you see it all over the place. If you cannot see how blatantly imbalanced this weapon is, or how much one must go through to acquire a weapon that is really not that far from a weapon that has "unique" attributes with no "unique" drawback besides "rarity" and "time", then you either have the weapon yourself, or you're too ignorant of the circumstances that encompass this weapon to argue any points. And since not everybody is offering mirror services I am pretty sure that there are way more items in existence that exceed Soul Takers damage, they simply dont get linked on the trade forums. You are comparing one unique to other uniques, as to imply they are not indeed unique; 2. You are clearly in denial beneath all of this because you're comparing a "fine" god-tier unique as you say, to other uniques that, guess what, are also claimed to be "god-tier" or extremely close to it. You may not see it, thousands of people may not even see it, but beneath your words is your guilty consciousness backfiring endlessly through the silent folds of your ignorant hyperbole. You have already explained to me recently that you believe OP uniques are fine for the game because they are something for end game players to strive for. That's why I think you defend uniques such as Shavronnes and Soul Taker. You arguments are just justifications in your own mind for your real reason for wanting them. You repeating that the only reason people disagreeing with you is because they own it themselves isnt an argument either nor is the fact that you said that it is. I get that youre butthurt like all the people who keep whining about Shavronnes being overpowered (yet its Dual Spork and RF and not the item itself) but at some point you will realize that great power only comes at a great price. You want a better item? Craft it. Sure it will cost a lot of money but apparently there are people who have gathered enough currency to waste 20 Eternals on Blues because their goal is to achieve exactly that which is proof that its not impossible, it simply takes a shitton of time. Perfect phys wands, perfect daggers, perfect caster wands, perfect shields, people constantly try to create those. The last % always cost more, its like that everywhere in life.
