Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - Shavronne's Wrappings is facebreaker - Forum

So I make this thread to discuss the pretty much mandatory change to shavronne's wrappings. Nerf it and make it as common as facebreaker, or just make it as common as facebreaker if certain group of people simply cannot nerf existing items. Seeing as low-life build are the single most powerful type of caster, I'm very much ok with not everyone getting a Shav and doing it. If you're lucky/gring enough, good for you. It shouldn't be an auto-pick, which it would, otherwise. You can say the same about Block builds and the Aegis Aurora. Shavronne's being rare is fine, players should understand that it's a luxury. You can make a low-life build and farm areas with no chaos damage, so low-life builds do function; it's just Shavronne's is a huge upgrade that opens up the rest of the game to these builds. Can you punch your way through docks or lunaris without facebreakers? The +30% More Damage is more than Plenty. If the luxury so happens to be a massive upgrade, then it becomes a necessity to get one. Luxury is more of something that you want, but it is not truly necessary since it is just there to optimize your already completed build. The way you describe Shavronne's wrap does not indicate it is a luxury, but more of a need to truly make an incomplete build be complete + optimized. Pretty much, it is a necessity and a luxury. Shavronne's wrap is one of a kind unique that is broken. I may look like I am contradicted what I am posting, but that is how bad Shavronne's wrap is. At least Facebreaker, you do not have that issue since it is cheap, and has a downside + dependency. Especially when there's on low life bonuses to builds other than casters that are way worse than RF.
