Most people don't touch their HC character once they have died.
And, hardcore isn't hardcore enough for you, so you play on default? That's funny.

If you take the time to read my post you would see that I said that I don't want to have to sink in more time if I happen to die. Not a matter of no time to play, it's a matter of investment.

I agree with this. Butttttttttt, loads of HC players just delete the toon when it goes to default as it is, so yea, kinda like Diablo stlye HC for some.

This is it, exactly. Most HC players are courteous, and understand that people enjoy different playstyles. The ones who abuse people on the forums are a minority.

Right. The transfer to default isn't there for hardcore players. Any hardcore player is going to delete and reroll. It's there for default players. GGG is nice enough to let you try out hardcore, and if you die, you can still keep your character, and transfer all your stuff to default.
