Depending on what you are lacking, you ultimately need a lvl 24 shield crush. But faster attacks instead of pulverize might "feel" better depending on current attack speed. Pulverize is ok but it also lowers your overall attack speed.

it totals to a little over 15% with everything considered, if I remember right. It's not 'required' but it definitely helps bossing feel smoother.

Empower is not worth the usage, stick to Pulverise. Even with the damage scaling provided with Empower at Shield Crush level 21 or 24, the gem damage bonuses aren't enough in comparison.

i tried out a build just like the one given in the guide and it hit hard. switched over to this

it doesn't have as much dps but

edit: building around making shield crush lvl 24 hit hard with everything capped but i would die quite a bit

its to generate frenzy charges on bosses and culling strike if not slayer
