Enough With the D3 vs PoE Beta

And so yet another D v PoE thread continues.....

I'm adding Torchlight 2 to the battle!
More crying pls now!

Lets throw in grim dawn and lineage eternal, and have a party =).

PoE is a game that has potential
D3 is a game that can disappoint me
TC2 is a game that can surprise me
Grim Dawn is a game from what I expect the most

Hold on to the mouse and drag it to draw DIY-like lines so as to excise various skills......

when lineage eternal comes out, it will pwn the ass out of d3, tl2, gd, poe and everything else with top down isometric view...... :)

Looks horrible IMO, trying to compete against D3 with that fancy colorful garbage is suicide.

a small Indie game company having threads/chat saying PoE is better than D3 is a massive compliment...just being compared to a huge developer is very nice

the bigger number of threads /amount of chat means only 1 thing PoE has worked before release

I think it looks absolutely amazing.
But what makes diablo especially awesome to me is the world you're playing it in.
Japanese stories tend to be very lame and weird.

Worked for a minority of players, seeing that it's always the same few people posting in this forum.

It's a matter of time before 15 May comes and only the supporters will be the ones left here.

I've been in the PoE beta for a fairly long time. I've also been in the D3 beta for a lengthy time.

Comparing them because they are both hack and slash games is like comparing World of Warcraft to Darkfall just because they are both MMORPGs.

Each game caters to the ARPG crowd, but D3 is aiming at the Casual/WoW fanbase and PoE is aiming at the Hardcore Darkfall/ultima fanbase. Many people realize that both games are worth playing, and will in fact play both.

What angers me is how long it's been since we've had a good ARPG, and now it's like getting an oversaturation of them with PoE, D3, Torchlight 2 all looking like they will be out in the same year.
