People need to stop blaming the game for not having time in their own lives. I feel like ARPG loot-grinder players are the only people that do this.
people do it in other games nowadays too. basically if they dont get gratified every x time, they complain that their time has been 'wasted'. its like they want some excitement per hour stuff. most of these people wouldnt last in era of no internet and being stuck on a level for 10+ hours, theyd yell 'mu timez iz important' and then go back to posting on social media ;)

but its definitely moreso in grinding games because they literally are about time investment.

I agree that this game's loot needs reviewing, without a good lootfilter the player is literally doomed, and most non-strict lootfilters are literally a n00b trap, making newer players lose loads of time with basically trashy gear.


My fix suggestion: Keep the crafting % of each affix the same, BUT, drastically reduce gear-related-loot ammount (90-95%), AND THEN, increase the odds of such DROPPED-ONLY-GEAR (not crafted, i.e. if someone uses currency on an item, it won't have this extra odds) to have higher and more siynergic rolls.. - Result: Dropped gear would be more picked up and more rewarding for the players who pick them.

Another similar suggestion: Make rare gear dropped from bosses to have that extra % odds of having higher + synergic tier affixes, while reducing the ammount of said gear drops, maybe limit it to 1 or 2 pieces at most.

It could be shown with lootfilters in the same way that Incursion-related (temple of atzoatl only) gear drops are distinguished.

Even with RNG ruining players experience, people still get bored in a months time. Trading makes everything trivial. There is no point to even complain about loot drops.

Time played doesn't even matter with RNG. That is how it has been since i started playing. The only thing that is constantly changing are players reaching lvl 90 faster than ever. To have more loots dropping for everyones delight will be the one that will kill this game.

When you start a league, you are essentially grinding to trade. Now i played SSF too. Nothing much to say but self inflicted restrictions are fine as long as you know what you're in for.
