The new Berserker degen is the worst joke ever
" Whatever. Its easy: No net equipped + tough mob + 0 damage build and gear, but at least it survives the loading screen XD Actually its fucking slow tbh. Shoulve went dual wield. Dernière édition par The_Human_Tornado#7752, le 11 avr. 2018 à 20:30:58

" Except this works only with 100% fire damage builds, and still with inquisitor you can potentially use other DPS flasks for an even bigger increase, and of course an OP elder/shaper amulet. Still the highest damage potential will not come from an avatar of fire build, especially when shaper stat sticks come into play. |

Bad design is just bad design, nothing more.
They should instead make it in a way where you gain bonuses when you lose HP. In example for each 1% of max hp lost recently you gain x bonus, stacking up to 100% of your max hp (200% with the passive that double it). Making it stack fast when many mobs hit you or whats most important, wind up fast especialy on hard hiting bosses. 4 second duration with refresh on each HP loss and done. Additionaly they can make it have passive that "Reduce bleed damage taken by 50%. Increase rage effectivness by 50% when bleeding." Dernière édition par herflik#4390, le 12 avr. 2018 à 11:18:34

Yea just like some people said before, why would they even call something Rage with mechanics like generating it by killing stuff and using warcrys? It should be rather called Battle Trance, Battle Rouse for something like that.
Killing stuff should him make feel satisfied for doing his job, not mad. It would make sense if Rage would be generated by not killing an enemy with a blow, getting hit or missing a hit or whatever. Missing hits for generating Rage would be fun, finally a build that rewards low hitchance xd |

" Rage, bloodlust, killing spree, it's pretty similar. It seems you're more thinking about frustration than the typical fantasy rage. |

" Rage should be what you get from becoming enraged. There is an "Enrage" mod for mobs in this game already, so the game designers should have a clear stance on what rage is. The mobs get it also for all kind of reasons that you could also call frustration, like getting the partner killed for canyon boss. So whatever makes a person mad has the potential to be a credible source of rage. Killing the enemies as a rage generator doesnt make sense, because why would anyone get mad over his enemies being dead? The normal fantasy rage is generated afaik in most games from being hit and hitting enemies as the warrior/tank class, but not by killing them. In WoW you even gonna lose all rage when using the ability execute on an enemy. Losing the rage on killing makes more sense than gaining it. |

" Taste of hate, atziri's promise, lion's roar, doedre's elixir, sin's rebirth, dying sun, onslaught flask, diamond flask, 40% damage flask(including overflowing chalice). There are options. Besides on a berseker with cloaked savagery, as long as you have not chaos res on your gear, using doedre's is a must for me to trigger savage hit on will, besides the extra charges, so another flask slot gone (at least for me) Besides that, you know that it is very hard to perfectly triple balance your resists for Oak, AND to roll perfect penetration on stat stick and amulet. Also on an end game boss you won't have your flasks up all the time anyway. However, you do have a point. If absolute PERFECT gear is concerned the Berseker has more DPS potential than the Inquisitor. On a realistic situation, not so much. And yet, his DPS increase won't be that big, considering the downsides, and the fact that Inquisitor has decent defensive buffs. And of course Champion with perfect gear will also blow the Berseker out of the water, even in terms of DPS, with zero downsides and with very good defensive buffs as well. Imho Berserker is about STILL doing damage while any other class already lies beneath the earth/ground.
It's about single target/crowd control as long as you're enragend / in rage, ignoring most of incoming damage/fatal hits. Yet GGG is trying to transform this class into some shitty dps blob with degen effects during battle, sad. Pls take a look at some old school rpg's like Eye of the Beholder, Baldur's Gate 1&2 or Icewind Dale or Neverwinter Nights. Or read the description of "Berserkers" in old norse sources. Selffound FTW!!!! Dernière édition par Mordad#0587, le 13 avr. 2018 à 11:41:57
