You are talking shit mate, i got banned for the name "pornography" if that is any shape or form racism, hate speech or anything then every word is. As op stated you guys hold standards of a kindergarten in a very religious area when it comes to character names.

They muted/banned me until I changed the name, the only request which was made and reason behind the mute/ban, only that was noted and which ended the mute/ban once the name was changed. Whether I am a prick or not has nothing to do with the matter, twizzletits.

Something vulgar doesn't really mean it's nasty or something like that. In some philosophy vulgar doesn't mean a bad thing, even somethink like "common". So for a adult who know much may mean something else.

"Offensive" is highly subjective, and I can easily be more offensive with "non-offensive" words than I could by swearing, which is why the whole "offensive name" and "vulgarity" argument is ridiculous and short-sighted to begin with. I don't see it that way. I'm sure many of us here are adults who are not offended in the least by "naughty" words, but are still very offended by people being major dicks, or using screennames such as, say, RapedYoBitchAssGrandma or things with overtly offensive racial or gay content. Those things are reflections of real people that we have to deal with, not the lore of a dark GAME.

If the offensive language allowed is any indication of "maturity" in a game then I guess dota 2 must be the most adult game out there. Really? Are we honestly saying that having a modicum of decency and politeness makes this game for kids?
