Something I just realized and I think is important. HEAR ME DEVS.

Thats why people keep asking for a crafting bench.
For something like the cpt.crimson set in d3. Better would be something actual balanced that even works for the endgame. Like a crafting bench. Cpt.crimson is just another meta build. So no solution in my mind. |

" You lost that bet with me. I pick all my blue items, especialy now when I can leave the map as many times I want. |
|
" and it is worth the time and the boredom it is? |
|
" " Your whole argument boils down to "I don't want to pick up all these blues, drag them back to town then process them. I want to process them faster than that." That's a fair complaint to make, I just disagree that alteration orbs are the right solution to it. Or are you telling me you enjoyed PoE 1's "grab 2000 alteration orbs, spam them on one thing, hope to get it perfect, misclick too many times and miss that perfect roll" gameplay? Devs want drops to matter. So long as we can turn trash drops into gold or shards without going back to town, I consider this an improvement over alteration orbs. |

" " " Yes I did enjoyed it. Actually crafting were my fav thing ever in this game. However I just saw a video where u can actually use a fractured orb, annul till u have 2 mods and then chaos spam like if it them were alterations. So the system doesent atctually change that much at the end no matter what. What I say is... U want people to stop gambling that much, give a propper reward for disenchanting. Also I dnt like to be keeping blue items in my tabs just cause them have maybe 1 mod I like just in case i can recombinate it or fracture it etc... Is far more efficient to have just alterations and when u are up for a craft just use them. And yes, I also prefear to craft items than gambling to rng by far. where does this talk of vendors supplying useful gear come from. I check vendors every level up and the most useful thing I'm finding is a plain white base to roll for a chance of the mod I need
maybe I'm being too picky, I tend to sell something if it either a) rolls a low-tier modifier (like +life but in the 7-15 range, why can't we have an orb that gives a reroll of this modifier + chance to upgrade its tier) b) rolls some modifier I do not want at all, like light radius, or mana, or spell damage, etc, not relevant to my build so I don't continue trying to craft on this base most of my gear has come from finally getting lucky with a drop or a roll on a white base, not direct from vendor. vendor typically has only 5-8 items relevant to my build at all, and pretty much never what I'm looking for with the modifiers. " Yep. The items that are being sold by vendours are usually really bad. But gamble is different than straigh buying. Is simply like using a orb that change bases and all mods randomly in exchange for gold. Actually... Is pretty much like an orb if u think about it. Actually... Now that I think about it... Maybe a shop where u could exchange gold for currency would actually b interesting. I would 100% prefear if u could just get standard orbs from vendours and u were forced to go to maps looking for a base u like and craft it yourself from 0 everytime. I dnt know if I am being too crazy with that.
What do u think of that system...? What If u had a vendour selling just like the most standard orbs. transmu, augment, chaos, regal, exalt, annul, and some quality related ones... Fuk, wait... IS not what we have in POE 1? Maybe im not being that crazy after all... |

Actually If I even think about it a bit more...
What would u say is the strongest points in POE 1..? 1st the quantity of content. 2nd The skilltree and personalization it gives to the player. 3rd The way the market works and regulate itself. 4th The crafting system. What is bad in POE 1? 1st How hard is to understand it for new players and the learning curve in general. 2nd The visual clarity 3rd The lack of a market in game 4th how fast the game is. Combar is trivial. It doesent really have in game macanics to dodge, roll, parry, combo, etc... Is just 1 button and number bassed gameplay. Am I correct? OR u disagree? " It's fast. It takes one click while you are runing to next group of mobs. Fast identify and then, just skim-check if it's starts that might be worh to try to turn into something. If it's not then it's fast turn into currency. On the way back I recharge my rarity talisman for the next elite I go after. Rinse and repeat. And no, I don't find it boring at all but at same time I am not categorising it as fun either, is just an automatic thing I do and have been doing in various games in my 30 years of gaming. Keep in mind I am not participating in trading as I absolutely loath how it's being handled and I do not apreciate the forced socialisation that comes with it. I consider utter waste of time having to go out of game, brows for item, whisper and wait, get into party, teleport to hideout, again a series of interactions to go through to get that item you want/need or whatever or oposite, have items taking your storage slots, waiting and responding to it and blah blah blah. Now thats an utter waste of time. Anyhow, people have different playstiles that are ok for them. Pretty much like you might enjoy a movie like Titanic while I would consider it waste of time and rather go and watch the whole Alien franchise. xD |
