Im just taking a guess here, but u mean 750k dps and not 750m+ damage?

Worth noting that duelist doesn't get efficacy naturally from vendor - you'll have to trade for it prior to a3.

Pre-Exsanguinate, I'll likely be using melee with whatever I find. Exsanguinate is unlocked once you complete Siren's Cadence in A1, and I'll be using that immediately.

Starting level links: Exsanguinate, Efficacy, Arcane Surge (will link in Controlled Destruction once unlocked in A2)

Corrupting Fever is unlocked once you complete Intruder's in Black in A2. That will be linked to Efficacy at the start (doesn't scale with spell damage, so no other support can be used).

Once you hit A3, you'll pick up Spellslinger and link it to both Exsanguinate and then put in a Reap Spellslinger as well (with similar links). This should let you tear through the acts.

So you will finally run exanguinate and reap in a 6link spellinger?

You'll probably only use reap for leveling since it has a really high base damage at low levels, but it'll fall off late game for slinger.

Good point for the Duellist. It'll be tough to start with a Duellist since you hardly get any gem supports for it, but hopefully the late game explosions/mapping speed makes up for it. I'm personally starting Scion, because I want to transition into some Mom/Indigon Reap/Exsanguinate shenanigans late game.

What ascendant nodes are you thinking for the scion? glad/trickster?

Also are you sure duelist gets the blood gems from quests? I've read somewhere you gotta get them from library.

I'm planning to go Glad/Pathfinder w/ Petrified Blood and using flasks to keep life maxed out. Specifically making scion for the insane tankiness it offers through flasks.

Ahh dang, I just double-checked the patch notes and you're right, it looks like you don't get Exsanguinate or Reap as a Duellist. I mistakenly assumed you did after reading that you get Corrupting Fever as a duellist.

This will shuffle up league start a bit, but you can still pick them up at A3 library as you said.

From patch notes:

-Exsanguinate is now offered to the Scion for completing The Siren's Cadence, and can be purchased from Nessa by the Marauder, Templar and Witch.

-Corrupting Fever is now offered to the Marauder, Duelist and Scion for completing Intruders in Black, and can be purchased from Yeena by the Templar.

-Reap is now offered to the Scion for completing Sever the Right Hand, and can be purchased from Clarissa by the Marauder, Templar and Witch.

-Lifetap Support is now offered to the Marauder, Templar, Duelist and Scion for completing The Caged Brute, and can be purchased from Nessa.

Another issue I see is, that Reap skill doesn't get blood charges when triggered. So that loses some value.

Yep, this is exactly why we don't use it late game, just for leveling up since it has really high base damage early on.

So why duelist instead of shadow? Can I see a breakdown of why you're choosing Duelist?
