Item Rarity and Quantity are totally useless

The funny thing the exact opposite is true. If anything mf is way too strong in this game. OP is clueless.

Clueless? Im talking about my personal experience. I have farmed Merciless Docks for about a week and I see absolutely no difference in drops when I run with 150/60 or with 0/0. But with 0/0 I actually get xp at faster rate.
Add me in game and I will show you the difference that MF can do in this game. When I do boss runs I can't even pick up all the rares & have resulted to trading for Transmutes to vendor for ID scrolls because I am constantly dry. Mf in POE is VERY powerful.
Most of my Build only needs a good Weapon. So i have enough room (not every Slot) for my MF Items. Actually i also think that MF is pretty strong in PoE.

Feel free to post a gameplay video, how you solorun maps with high MF and tonnes of useful loot is dropping.

Weird, to me a perfect design would be where the game challenges you to get great gear / stats to beat extremely difficult encounters with actual useful drops / high currency.

I guess my expectations of a FUN game are not something shared it seems.


No, a good game design is when the item rarity and quantity actually outweighs the dps/survivability loss. Not more dps means more and better loot.

You obviously expect too much of impact or want to use IIQ/IIR gear that sucks. I notice a HUGE difference when i put in rarity + quantity gems alone on my LA. You must expect it to rain uniques or something because you gained 50% rarity... Honestly, I feel that IIQ mods are almost too mandatory.

You convinced me though. Low values of IIR/IIQ does suck, high values is great.
