To get this discussion back on track. Why would anyone use this skill? Is mana pool really that big of an issue for an end game witch? Just using Clarity Aura and mana regen nodes I find it hard to get below 50% mana and have never once come close to running out. This seems like overkill at the expense of a ton of survivability.

dennis, a large mana pool will allow you to stack more auras.

" You being serious man? There are already about 100 threads on this but people take it because they need mana. very simple. Taking EB allows you to greatly increase your mana pool without having to take any other nodes for it. Some people just need more mana because they 5/6l and after their modifiers spells can become very expensive to cast, others like to run 5+ auras which again requires a shit load of mana. Taking EB is a good alternative to blood magic or other means. There are 0 useless skills on the tree. Some just seem to work with almost every build, some are very niche.
