Inventory size
|
don't you think the size of the inventory is a bit small? I'm not in the beta yet, but a friend who has it told me the inventory va quite small and that it fills very quickly when you play.
it seems the items are quite big and take a lot of space in the inventory (not that it's bad, but when you're farming items you need a bit of space to avoid going back to town every 10 minutes). ? Ce fil de discussion a été automatiquement archivé. Les réponses ont été désactivées.

The inventory size is small. You get very choosy about what to pick up. Also you cant examine all items that drop as wisdom scrolls, at least for me, are much rarer then magic drops.

I agree that the inventory looks rather small for all the fun loot that drops.
But maybe the idea is that the limited size will make players trade more, in a way to have space in the chest. Or maybe they will sell larger chests and/or inventory size. I know I would be ready to pay for that. |

From viewing a buddy play this game I feel like he is being punished for picking up items unless they are good..

It seems like the inventory size is taking on a much more realistic role in the game. Instead of picking up 5 tons of junk, you should only take rare, and valuable items, or what you need. To me, this seems to be an excellent idea!

When it comes to inventory, I feel that a game usually does best if it heads towards one extreme or the other. Either it should be so large that space is never an issue and you never have to worry about it, or it should be so small that inventory management practically becomes a mini-game unto itself (trying to manage space/weight/what's really critical and/or valuable).
Trying to find a balance somewhere in the middle of the two extremes almost always fails and you end up pleasing neither side. |
