Will we ever get an auction house? its literally my biggest issue with this game atm.

Never gonna happen. Something about the community experience, something about ruining the already complete cancer economy and something about making the game easy.

You don't have to use poe.trade, there is actually an official trade site at https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Betrayal

They point out correctly that "easy trade" of any form would ruin the sense of progression in the game, and without that the game would be pretty much dead. People play the game in hope of finding gear that improves on what they have.

By making trading "clunky", they know that many (some would say most) players don't participate in it, and they can balance the game around the idea that at least someone is playing using the drops they find/craft. If they added an AH or other form of easy trade, they would have to pretty much scrap the idea that drops are worth looking at. The game would simply become a grind for currency to purchase gear.

That would cause them to lose sales of stash tabs. People just wouldn't need to save stuff anymore.

So it's not happening. Not in this game. Look for another one if you want easy trading.

ya if u wan't more clunky version fewer search criterias ya use the official one .. they even failed at copy/paste poetrade.. but whatever the point still stands never seen a game where the community has to create so many 3rd party tools to clear things up and allow u to even understand abilitys

D&D started out as a "3rd party tool to clear things up"... we were playing it with the Chainmail ruleset for years before Gygax had the smarts to write it down an publish it. Wonder what Gary's doing now...?
