You're pretty close.

As Openarl has confirmed the gem data won't be updated until release I did it myself just to see what impact this would have on the build.

My version is slightly different to that posted by corosou but it went from 3.659m to 2.749m -- Single target.

2.817m to 2.095m -- mapping (Swap out point blank for pierce)

So a 25% reduction in DPS (if my change is to be believed).

This is at gem level 22 (lvl 20 gem with coming calamity)

use 25 viru stacks instead of 40 to test the changes, thats about it.

Nah, because you're also nerfing the flat phys per stack.

The Champ on 4L was stupid OP with vendor trash gear:

Here's a comparison I did quickly with the champ version

Since you guys are interested in HoA, let me share something I put together just in case HoA became mediocre.

I had in the back of my mind the idea of using HoA as a support, and not the main source of damage. The obvious answer is Viper Strike + HoA for the Poison synergy.

I did some research, tested it on my 89 Ascendant "Ceraous" (did some T16s) in STD and put together what a Champ would look like with ideal gear + vendor trash:

It plays pretty well! and I am sure it can be optimized.

I will def be ironing this out in Legion, but you're welcome to take the idea and roll with it for now, if you'd like.
