No, no game should be catered to hardcore only players.

But in the case of PoE, the game is gaining wiews by those who stream the game and make videos about it. Without them, what would have been the player base ?

So on one side, GGG must be very carefull with those players (which spend 10 hours playing PoE) and give them free advertising and the rest of the player base which is composed of mid-core players like myself and casual players whom will have a hard time trying to be better / learn the game.

I'm almost always playing quite low dps builds, which does not mean that there are trash, so I do agree that it's subjective.
But next time, maybe you should take a more fitting number.
2 million dps is of huge help against UElder by the way, without a doubt.

You can reach Shaper with a 60k dps build btw, even kill him.

The number chosen were from my own experience of playing PoE. So, now i know better what i have still left to do and learn to go in red tier maps and beyond :)

But 2 million DPS seems far off for me for now.

I think the chaos+ enchants or red map only uniques should be 90+ and they need more 90+ content.

Its ok to have power creep but make it at the appropriate level. Also any uniques sold at 1 ex plus now should be 90+ also.
