Lack of QoL
There were already lots of suggestion in the past about QoL yet still ignored. Masters to slow to level up (solo) Instead of easy quest but small XP gain, make it more challenging & give more XP (Risk vs reward). SFF balance Make SFF permanent to character (no migration), so you can balance it accordingly & prevent abuse. Outleveled Unique drops. Drop low level unique items during leveling & not when where already mapping. I don't need level 10 unique when I'm already level 89 & doing yellow-red maps, why not drop it when I was still at level 10-20. End game content gated by RNG Uber trials, Atziri, Pale Council, high tier maps. End game content should be gated by skill & not luck. Automated trading for low tier maps
Self explanatory. Tiers 1-5 and even 6-10 become eventually a massive pain to obtain via trading because nobody will bother responding to an offer below 1c. I know it wont happen though because GGG need their overpriced map tab money. Constant crashes, lag in some places, keep putting in big effects, dood! Some maps lag not because of my connection but because of the way they were made. Add some beyond monsters, add the red bestiary mobs, it becomes hell on Earth. My PC is not absolute top notch but there is no way for a game of PoE's quality to lag, unless of course the developers go full balls to the wall nuts with the fancy stuff(you cant disable btw). Its sad but once again effects give them money so they are here to stay. Crashes are an entirely different cup of tea, probably caused by the outdated as hell engine. Vanity projects they refuse to let go of Hello, lab! They spent too much time on it and hyped it to the heavens just to turn out to be the most hated feature of the game. Will they make it non-mandatory? Of course not, they spent so much time on it after wall. Lack of care during a season Seems like they figured out the best way to make money and bring in players is to do these big content additions every 3 months regardless of how bad and/or unbalanced they turn out to be. Balancing and changes during the league itself are barely there and honestly I stopped even reading patch notes because I know almost nothing will change. There are more probably but I am getting too frustrated here. |

1. Trade system without at least auction house for items priced under 10c.
2. Masters “missions” are boring and outdated jokes. Excluding Zana’s mission, but when it comes to levelling Zana – another bad joke. Almost 1,5 million exp. points? Still sane GGG? 3. Offerings to the goddess. Extremely annoying in connection with servers disconnections. Players are forced to torture themselves with “trials” or to trade to obtain those stupidities. 4. Boss drops - another frustrating joke. 5. Experience gaining. If players plays solo, on level 93 it is about 2,8% after completion of T16 map including boss. It means player have to do approx. 32 T16 maps deathless, all this in condition he 6. Has 32 T16 maps, which is nearly impossible with actual map drops. 7. Bosses “invulnerable phases”. Annoying source of frustration caused by a sense of lost time resulting from… point 4. – tragic boss drops. 8. Useless “unique” items. There are hundreds of uniques, which in the assumption should be valuable. In fact there are approx. 40 good unique items in whole game, rest of them are vendor trash. 9. Totally outdated skills or tree nodes. Cause monsters to flee? Increased light radius? Blood magic (that one from skill tree)? Arrow dancing? Avatar of fire? (when there is Xoph’s Blood). Anybody uses that things? 10. The last but not least – awful GGG manner to nerf characters to the ground. I had at least 4 characters completely destroyed by such actions. From state – clear whole screen with one mouse click to “problems with clear low lvl yellow maps and bosses on white maps”. Same equipment, same tree and suddenly whole build not work. 1) Power creep. If you play a relatively normal build (like I do atm) you can play the game just fine, but you'll never get even 1/10 of the DPS that the more complicated builds have, that use build enabling uniques to their advantage. When people are killing red map bosses in 0.5 second, something is just plain wrong.
2) A point already made by morbo on page 2: "The game is like 70% RNG, 25% knowledge and 5% skill. I wish there was more skill, at the expense of RNG." Now tbh I can personally understand the RNG part. I don't always like it, but it's a core element of this game's design. What bothers me most is that knowledge is far more important than skill. I'm fine with having to learn the game but really, I've spent countless hours on forums / wiki (on top of ~1100 hours /played) and I still feel like I only understand a small part of the game. Especially in regard to unique items and how they interact with each other, gems, ascendancies, keystones... I mean, there are over 800 uniques and 19 (?) ascendancies, how can I possibly know how they all work? Yet that knowledge is exactly what allows people to come up with the crazy builds I was referring to under 1). I see a problem in this. It means that making the best builds is something only the 0,1% most experienced people will be doing. If you are part of the other 99.9% and want to compete, your only choice is to copy a build from a guide. Now, I'm happy not competing, playing my own build and knowing that it's got subpar DPS, but I still don't like the design of "Wanna make a top build? Spend a few thousand hours learning the game and then come back". |

1. Trading System
Is way to annoying the way it is now. Price Fixers, Afk/DnD/not responding People. 2 Weeks after Leaguestart it is pretty hard to find someone who will trade cheap items with you. A better way would be to „directly“ sell your Stuff through the Stashtabs when you priced them. So when someone sees an Item he clicks on buy. He gets the item and the currency is dropped in your stash. Or put a vendor in your hideout (like in Ultima Online) that has is own stash tabs and where people can buy the stuff. 2. Quality of Life So we got a ton of Special Stash Tabs. Like Map or Currency Tab. But it’s more efficient in the moment to just drop all stuff in 1 Quad Tab und sort it later (or never). So why there is no auto sort button where the game automatically puts map in the map tab essence in essence tab and so on. So you just have to check out the rares/uniques and chroma/jeweler stuff. That would raise the quality of life in this game enourmously. Save Hideout Designs would be great too. So when u designed your super Hideout that looks awesome you just save the design and can load in in any other league again. Or you can switch Hideouts without starting all over again. Then the decorations would make more sense and there wouldn’t be so many hideouts, where are just the 2 Bank Chests the tools and the masters. 😊 Some Auto-Pickup stuff for low currency would be nice too. Let’s say you reach lvl 80 then your character auto pickups scrolls. With lvl 85 transmutation orbs or something like that. But thats not really needed just more quality of life for the lazy ones. 3. Death Penalty I don’t like the Death Penalty as it is right now. It is way too hard when you are in the 90s. Progress of Hours/Days/Week can be gone because you drop into an epically deadly mob group (1 shot packs are a diffrent problem but i could live with that). So when you hit a certain lvl it shouldn’t be the same 10% as it is right now. But decreasing as you lvl up. Sure there has to be an penalty but it is ok when it’s just a slap in the face instead of an epic roundhouse kick. 😉 |

This feeling of being hostage by the currency flipper, the price fixer. To be punished by GGG by this nerfs succecif more and more violent.
The price of map, currency and diviniation cards that explodes rejecting a little more 95% of the players. I crossed 2 lich and a hundred abyss and breach but not Farrul, First of the Plains. Exploit abuse on items like Lycosidae or infinite currency with a necro tric on the map. Having map progression be so randomly based. It's almost my only complaint. It's frustrating to wan't to progress through the end game but being totally unable to due to bad luck over the course of hours. I wish there was a better way to get maps than trading, or hoping for blind luck.
as for power creep comments, I don't want the game to slow down, I don't want to see good cool and fun things nerfed to the ground. Only issue I see personally is that elder weapons hold global values (ie stat sticks) rather than local. Something I can live with but a minor complaint, Masters missions (excluding zana) are pretty boring, not very exciting at all. I wish the rest of the masters missions were brought up to zanas missions kind of excitement. perhaps increase the difficulty for most of them? |

" All I see are a list of things you find difficult about the game.... these aren't even game problems, they are your problems. I have ZERO difficulty getting maps or maintaining them, it was even hotfixed last week so actually the map drop rate has jumped up significantly. I am finding on average 3 red maps per red map run, I have had to trade for probably a grand total of 5 maps if I exclude uniques. If I include uniques, yes you have to trade, WELCOME TO REALITY, I have to trade in a game that has a ? "TRADE SYSTEM" built into it. |
