ahh thank you very much for this explanation
Yo :D I am a beginner so I would need someone to guide me. My goal would be to do all the content (shaper izaro uber elder etc). What should I buy / do about my weapons, jewels, gems? (except the 6L on the inpulsa obviously :p ).

https://pastebin.com/Q27Lx6KH (i dont really know how path of building works but i only have 300k dps :( i heard that for doing shaper we need 1M+ :( )

Thanks for helping :)
(sorry for bad english:/ )
So I experimented a little with Path of Building and found that replacing Increased Critical Strikes with Increased Critical Damage causes Blade Vortex to gain more DPS. Is Path of Building taking into account the average of less crits and thus the DPS is accurate or is it still better to maintain Inc. Crit. Strikes?
Greetings, exiles!

I need a piece of advice from you.

Right now, I'm using these two lovely daggers:

Should I replace them with one one these sticks?

Thank you in advance!

The DPS difference between crit strikes and crit damage is only minor. In practice, you'd rather just have better consistency for your crits because crits proc your heralds and your status ailments.
Wanted to give some feedback (and rant a little):

I "wasted" aprox. 12 shaper sets now, to try and tackle Uber Elder with this build.
And allthough people in this thread claim to have taken him down even deathless (grats on your dodging skills), i don't think this build is Uber Elder viable. The dmg mitigation is not enough and/or the leech doesn't suffice to get back to full hp fast enough. Respectivly, you need to dodge stuff and run away, do that for 2-3 secs and you are down to like 4 blades. But the fight is too hectic to have the time to spin back to 10 while leeching off of your vulnerable target. In the meantime the next attack is flying your way, but you are just at 50% hp.

Plus, BV can be laggy at times, which got me killed too often for my taste.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not an experienced Uber Elder killer, but the dmg numbers of this build looked promising and i think the dmg is completly fine for the fight (even without GG gear).
But you will get hit and recovering from that is too slow imo.

I tried a lot with swapping gear (Kaoms roots, more life, swapping pantheon).
Take a look at my char "SchnitzelSpecht" if you think "this guy's gear is probably ass".

However, and this is a big positive thing, this build is absolutly nice for the rest of the content.
Shaper guardian maps, Shaper (becomes fairly easy), some of the "tougher" top tier map bosses, even Hall of the Grandmaster (if you get a Balefire for those annoying max block chars).
And Uber Atziri! Which made me really happy, since i tried to down her for several leagues now, but never had the right char to do so. Be aware though, her 1% dmg reflect will kill you if you spin to 10 blades and push your flasks, so plan and react accordingly (Soul of Yugul helps a bit).

All in all a really nice build that does all the content really well, except Uber Elder.
If you are looking for a char that can do especially that encounter, and you are not super experienced with the fight (or never done it), look for something beefier.
How does "increased physical damage" affect this spell? I got a dagger yesterday with comparable crit stats to divinarius but it also had over 150% increased physical damage. I figured that since BV is a physical damage spell that it might apply that damage buff before the herald and hrimsorrow apply their buffs, but my damage actually declined when I equipped the dagger. Is it better just to stick with increased spell damage?

That phys damage is local. Only affects damage when attacking with the dagger which you don't do as BV so it does nothing for you.

Damn, okay thanks. Only 2c wasted I guess, maybe I can resell it.

What about the global physical damage nodes on the passive tree, such as "Will of Blades"? Worth it?
