/player x is perfectly fine alternative, it allows people who cant or dont want to run multiple copies of the game. This game doesnt actually allow multiboxing, what he is doing is multiclient. Please, cure your ignorance.

After seeing this I would also like to know if you get to a point where a boss drops all blues does IR really matter anymore? You are already getting the max number of magic/rare items, seems like finding the point that happens then stacking IQ would be best.

If I'm not mistaken and it works like MF in D2 did, with higher IIR you get higher chance for uniques and rares to drop, so until you are getting all rares IIR will increase your chance to find rares.

Chris has stated that multi-boxing is allowed as long as no automation is used.

So as long as you are the one controlling all the characters this is acceptable. However, if you are using a program to control the other characters they reserve the right to punish/ban you.

While I currently see nothing in the ToS about third party software (can't even find a EULA), multiboxing, by definition, is using third party software, which is often a breach of said terms in another games. It, however, is typically an overlooked crime on the part of the developers as it is typically harmless. In the case of PoE, I do feel that it is an unfair advantage to have over other players as it allows an unfair accumulation of wealth in both volume and speed. A /players option would be a fine alternative, as the advantage of the third party software would be removed.

If you do not understand how an extra (quite large) chunk of IIQ/IIR available only to those who have the tech power to multibox is both advantageous to the player and harmful to the economy, then you should ask yourself why you are doing it. Your answer is exactly the reason.

this is how myself and everybody i know (including tagz) farms. the only method that can outfarm 6 boxing vaal or merveil or whoever, is by doing level 75+ maps and taking the i77+ thicket, pris rings, leather belts etc and selling those white items for 2 gcp+ each. im sure if they fuck with chaos recipes in some way it will just make people not want to use recipes. (for example, if they made the recipe only make 1 chaos instead of 2).
