Trade scamming

Well i got scammed in a similar way a while ago ( the first time in years in fact ).
Sent message to support not sure i'm allowed to paste the entire answer from the GGG's mail but basicly " account will be under surveillance we are not allowed to comment on moderation ".

I think they are taking arbitrary decisions regarding scamming issues and since there are none regulation about it actualy make sense.

Sadly it doesn't solve the whole issue wich is TRADING and the unaceptable amount of time required to find a ***** unique box without buying it.

In Prophecy i was playing 7 hours a day i rushed 39/40 in 3 weeks and got stuck for weeks on this challenge while it had actualy nothing challenging.

There is nothing to actualy do about it or it doesn't require any game knowledges skill or anything at all ( wasted more than 3k chances orbs in treasure prophecies and along leveling characters none turned to the correct unique box ). At some points it sounds like a player retention strategy and a crappy one used mostly by Casinos to force addiction of gamblers.

I don't have a problem with scammers. I woundnt do it because i'm not a complete dirtdag but paying for challenges is cheating too. Do you guys pay ppl to do your homework and take tests for you at school? Cheaters got cheated IMO.

But this just sounds like an excuse to be an asshole for the actual scammers. "You cheat the game, I will be judge of that, so I can freely cheat you."
And it's not like tests at school are randomly generated, you still have a say in what will you write in that test, something you cannot say about strongbox challenge.

i think i have a solution for the problem:

ggg should ban those who use "paid services" in the game for cheating.

it would:
- prevent players from getting scammed
- would prevent the "naming and shaming" complaints in the forum

So it's cheating to buy a Warbands cache from someone because you didn't see one in 10k map tiers, while others have found several in 2k map tiers?
I see no problem in people selling stuff that is completely RNG gated. Paying for Shaper kills etc. is lame and I see your point there but it's not as black and white as you think.
Scammers make a ton of currency by stealing it from others because GGG protects them so that you can't warn others about them to at least reduce the amount of people falling for them, if they can't get banned for it.
Also, by paying for a challenge you don't take from anyone else. If you skip some content by paying for it instead of actually doing it yourself, you miss out on it and that's it, no one else is screwed over because of it.

Of course it's wrong but it's a risk you take dealing with unknown ppls. GGG has taken a hands off approach to trade because it would be a nightmare support and expense wise not because they don't care. Investigations, False accusations, complaints about unfair or uneven treatment etc. At the end of the day it's wild west so ppl need to accept that and do due diligence if you wanna do these kinda transactions. Only safe transactions are windowed item for item ones and even then I've heard ppl whining about someone switched item on them or wrong amount. Just more carelessness. You can not be ripped off in this game unless you allow yourself to be and thats all GGG can do.

This is good life training too for snowflakes. Real world is way uglier so GGG's doing y'all a favor leaving it wild west where it costs nothing when you get scammed.

Alex_GGG was presented with evidence when I tried to prevent others in chat from getting scammed and he muted me for naming and shaming.

Moral of the story is: if you buy a supporter pack you can scamm all you want ggg will turn their gaze away.

It has nothing to do with supporter packs. It's hours of investigation and arbitration to come to a decision. Each complaint. That costs lots of money. GGG would spend their whole time playing nanny judge and jury. How about you guys take responsibly? Like buy from reputable people vouched in trade forums? Like ppl you "know" well? Or just don't trust anyone and do it yourself? Thats what I do. Never been scammed. Never will be.
