Why go melee when ranged does everything better?

Why go ranged when it does everything better?
I don't mean to sound cold, cruel or vicious, but I am, so that's the way it comes out...
I have a tank with like 84% block and it gets rekted in low lvl maps

Block was not good before the nerf to me because its random and once it doesn't trigger your shit out of luck (and this can and will happen more then once in a row=you died)

Defense sucks in this game and evad isn't worth using (but then again my evad char is low lvl still)

Desync kills everything

My main has 7k hp with 15k def or some such thing and i get hurt badly by blue+ mods in 71 maps at 92 (this should never happen if your char was moving forward and gainnig stats etc as you lvl)

At some point the game just doesn't move you forward because of the RNG bullshit and most gear that drops is 100% useless

I really wonder what a lvl 92 map would be like if i get rekted in a 71 at 92 lol

Still in the alpha stage, but at least build diversity isn't an issue: https://wolcengame.com/home/
Reasons:

1. Because RNGesus will be delight with our sacrifices when going melee.
2. We know deep inside we are awesome.
3. We (and probably Ned Stark too) keep telling ourselves "Melee buff is coming".
