Predictions on Unique Rarity Tier Changes

I predict, that Tabula Rasa, the most build enabling unique of them all will be knocked down to a more common tier. Tabula Rasa, king of twinking, will drop nearly as often as crown of thorns. I support this. As every player who's played for more than 80 hours or so aught to have one of these just for testing purposes if for no other reason than that.

Most rings and amulets such as theif's torment, eye of chayula, and romira's banquet will also become more common. Even astramentis. Again. I support this.

The new trash uniques, though some would ask what's "new" about some of this "trash" will be uniques such as Bronn's Lithe, Lioneye's Glare, and that Maelstrom staff I forget it's name.

I am ambivilent about what happens to Shavronne's Wrappings. Perhaps they could lower its energy shield and make it less rare as well. I would support that.

Prediction: people will still complain.
They didn't buff them by much when they already have a low base rate. 0.00000001 x 100 is still 0.00000002.

It's way too late, the playerbase has already shrunk to closed beta numbers. They are buffing drop rates and increasing 6ling because these are final revival measure to a dying game. Desperation measures.

Note that Steamgraph is representative to half the online population. I've already quit awhile ago due to the poor state of the game.

People are complaining right now lol. It only took like 2 pages from the thread for someone to complain about how GGG will destroy the game economy with this move.

IGN: RFFP
Just goes to show if you push hard enough you can bend them over.

This, ffa, 6 link ease (soon to be buffed again!?!), skill tree made simpler, yep I'm about to abandon ship.

Lol, as if people pla a game for the trading aspect. Unless its a stock market simulator i could care less what any drop rate changes do to a virtual economy.

I agree. It was quite obvious from the complain post that the guy was just butthurt cause he hoarded a lot of the rarer uniques.

EDIT: Case in point:

Played PoE like 4 month now and love it that is so hardcore. Casuals with Kaom and shavron? That is damn ridiculous. Cant get one from maps? So sell your shit and buy it. In my opinion PoE is going wrong way now.

I hope it doesn't become a trend to cater to the lowest common denominator.

Except you just did by announcing and eventually implementing these changes.
