i dont have any issues as such, because GGG often introduces ridiculous items and them nerfs them later. And the item is insanely expensive too, just as I expected as it would be.

8 exalts = insanely expensive = mind blown :)

There is a reason why it is cheap.

just did poe.xyz search. One on ambush for 15 exalts (which is pretty mighty expensive, when a 6l armor can be had for much less).
One on standard for 75 exa, which is pretty fucking expensive.

where did u get the 8 exalts price tag from?

Probably, from REAL deals.
Some traders tend to overprice stuff, but that doesnt mean it will be sold for what they ask.

Oh look another person who doesnt think leech is needed in the hammer like somehow ele reflect wont kill you.

Pretend its enough to just use phys leech and resists so we'll know for certain if you have any experience with such a setup.

People are using life on hit with their main skill. It's working in invasion.. soo.

That would not work with something like discharge in the hammer. Not unless they avoided every single ele dmg and crit multiplier node.

A leech in the hammer (along with vaal pact) means the life return scales up parallel to the damage output. A flat LoH return is nowhere near the reflect damage that could be coming in with discharge or chain.

I'm speaking from CoC experience so I'm used to seeing Ele Reflect crits coming back on me. Vaal pact has been mandatory since the leech nerf, even with max resists and high spell block.

Cyclone ek coc here, no vaal pact no spell block. All is well in wraeclast rest your troubled head.

Your example is so irrelevant and short of info that it isnt even worth comparing.

Are you using leech? You didnt say.

EK is physical. Are you using endurance charges? Arctic armour? Lightning coil? All of those significantly reduce reflect on you.

Phys leech on gear? It might be helping you but it wont be for mew mew's lower dps.

Also EK is nothing compared to discharge.. I dont care if you use added fire and hatred it still isnt coming close. The crit rate is lower and you need extra supports to pierce or maintain damage at range.

You're better off just putting a leech in the gavel and being able to boost ele dmg and ignore some HP nodes.

how would you discharge with the hammer...where are you getting your charges......it's not coc, you're not building into crit

I know it's a new item, but can you guys think before you theorycraft something idiotic

Maybe before trash talking someone's idea, take a look at the available items in the game. There is an item that makes this 100% viable (2 if in standard).
