Although, personally i get a lot of wealth in every league i never thought of selling my on 3rd party websites and i rather waste them pointlessly at the end of league on random items. Even though it could buy a lot of supporter bling and/or real life stuff, i don't feel it's anything less than a vicious circle that leads nowhere.
I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

If I was GGG I would be running a RMT operation myself. You profit two-ways, first you get the money from RMT'ers, second you ban them periodically (the trick here is always to use 'waves' and never take the 'War on RMT' seriously) so they have to open a new account and RMT again.
Seriously, you reap what you sow. If your game is designed in a way that it favours RMT you get RMT. The "War on RMT" will never be won, and that's bad for legit players because the whole game is balanced around interaction and exchange. Solution: release user-paid leagues already (because you are too entrenched on your 'economicism'), at least we can have fun that way and don't give a fuck about corrupt official leagues. Maybe even a 'paid' version where the game is not balanced around havign to interact with RMT'ers, botters, multiboxers and all trash tier 'players'. |

" I used to think this would be the solution, but since then I've grown to have strong doubts about the custom leagues. Cynical as usual, I'm guessing these things will have limited general application and be for high tier supporters or possibly as a desperation measure (it may take longer to introduce than you'd hope). If you consider the often used arguments of fracturing the player base (from SFL threads), the total focus on the economy and legacy, it really doesn't look good to me. Besides, when's the last time you heard anything about custom leagues? I read about them 2 years ago, today I still don't know shit. Also, I'm not going to be paying shit for a league that already exists, with features removed and more damage. BLAMT sucks shit. I'd be very glad to be proved wrong about my doubts. |

" I have no idea how you get that solution from GGG apparently theoretically selling items to RMT companies. Then pose an answer to a theoretical problem. Also how the hell would you sell it to a RMT company? If they kept just pumping out orbs/items to sell it RMT, they would effectively ruin their game so fucking fast that it'll be insanely crazy. Do you even how much RMT people make? Why would you risk years and years upon work and thousands and thousands upon thousands of dollars of your work a little pocket change. Even then why just not make the game P2W and offer shit in the store for points anyway? Why the hell do it illegally and risk being caught. Like really. Also user-paid leagues aren't a answer because the people that do want to play multiplier official servers still have to deal with RMT. This thread started out as a witch hunt.. funny that its still open.
Talk about forum rule consistency "Ultimately, I confess I still don't get the appeal of dungeon crawlers.
Seems like I could recreate the essential experience by opening Microsoft Excel, scrolling down ten thousand pages with the down cursor key, and then typing "The Most Splendid Trousers of Them All!" -Yahtzee |

this thread will escalate and be closed probably.
but its kinda sad ggg doesn't seem to take a sterner approach to RMT, i mean you have a prominent self-confessed RMTer who take ages to be finally banned, it gives the impresssion to others that they do what they please since as long as you are not utterly obvious/stupid you wont get caught. |
