it is ggg not us that should care about that

ggg has the way to find out EXACTLY who is rmt'ing: they have all the data on the items and their history. it is not a rocket science to compare these with jsp trades (fully visible, most names here and there are the same, people dont even pretend to hide) starting from tops of current ladders. after like 10-20 high-profile bans others would at least start to do it less in the open

This. GGG knows full well people RMT, and you can be sure they have a good few people they are watching closely. The problem is it is very hard for definitive proof, and without that they won't ban someone.

Wasn't Panko and co perma banned for RMT iirc?

they don't ban with screenshots alone. But if you give them screenshots then they can investigate further and are much less likely to ignore your email to support.

and really, what good would it do to forge a screenshot? it's not like you can just photoshop the words "IM AN RMT USER" into chat and they will ban the guy

your own screenshots and even videoes are not valid proof as these can be manipulated.

getting someone banned who clearly rmts is very very hard.
