Think I'm finally bored of poe

PoE is a job, not a game.
You only win when you quit. Many lewt. Much desync. Such rewarding. Wow. According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew? Dernière édition par Robert_Paulson#5467, le 30 déc. 2013 à 17:32:15

+1 to OP, I have played lots of grind games...this one takes the cake as far as not being rewarded for time played

" This type? A good ARPG does not have to be mindless grinding. It can certainly be more stimulating like having enough content to integrate leveling and gear farming together and better ways to get gear instead of relying on RNG. There is plenty of room for more balance, Why do you omit what is in the middle? You only speak of the far left and the far right. --- Agreed with OP, the game needs some work. It seems too much geared toward extremist or elite gamers. |

aethynyc, If that's the way you feel about it... maybe you have to realize this game isn't for you?? Cause you don't wanna work for it.. you rather have it fast and the easy way. Which failed for me in diablo 3.. I quit that game for that reason, Everything was to easy. And i got bored of it quick. Let's pretend GGG's raised the item drop rates.. And items were a lot easier to obtained, Prices would drop down so fast in trade channel, To the point where your gear basically worthless. when you actually do find high end game item, And you probably wouldn't feel excited about finding it either cause everyone would have it and its dirt cheap to buy from trade, Then that Crate another group of complainers about the game was to easy where there trashing the contents, cause took little effort gain anything in the game. People would lose interest faster and end up getting bored and quitting.
This my first char lvl 76 witch once i hit 60 i figured what kind of build i wanted to come up with.. And looking at trade channels, couple of The key gear's i wanted to make my build work.. cost so much. Was thinking to myself how the hell am i going to get 10ex with my first char???? So i end up farming With No MF% at all... And all this time i was looking for Ex's I actually found the gear i been wanting i was so freaking excited When i found my 3 key parts to making my build work, that excitement feeling keeps pushing me to improve my char more and more it feels rewarding to me but that's imo, Now I am working getting my 2 rings that cost me 6ex, Maybe i find them maybe i wont, But i got good strategy of collecting chaos little bit faster with no mf% either way i will get my 2 rings (^_^) Maybe you just need to come up with strategy or making current one better? Dont say its fine and you get rewarded for your time when you invest it. it does not reward you, i played 500 hours or so and the best item i found was 6s carcass jack, but i earned enough ex in a week through trading that i was able to buy me a kaoms heart, so this game doesnt reward you while playing it

OP right on.
Drops suck. Crafting sucks. (Fusings should not remove links. BUT, this will never change.) Must be bored; the forum has suddenly become more interesting than the game. LOL |

" The progression almost stops entirely long before you reach high maps. Work/Reward is not ok, I've hardly played in weeks because of it. There is barely any hope of finding nice items, and there is literally zero hope of finding enough orbs to craft yourself a good item. I'm put off by the fact that I need to invest hundreds of hours to get a single upgrade, because I tried trading but it is way too tedious. Playing this game leaves a sour taste in your mouth. The most frustrating part is that ARPG's are all about playing the game your own way, and there are so many cool ways you can play POE but the gear is so harshly gated that you won't get to experience the full potential of more than one or two builds unless you trade like crazy or nolife. " Trading is a (very important) part of the game, so trading = playing and playing = reward. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
