Albino Rhoa Feathers!!
" Except that it doesn't happen this way. The worst case was the GMP recipe and that didn't rip people off. They got a 20% quality gem in trade for what they thought was a good deal... and it was. That lasted about a week before people figured it out. It's not the end of the world. The ARF thing is still most likely a source of fun teasing and not a get rich quick scheme. |

and then the gcp lost 33% of its value over night. and lost its standing as a standard currency.
that sir is a pretty substantial shift in an economy. Dernière édition par Saltychipmunk#1430, le 19 déc. 2013 à 13:07:08

" That happened due to the existence of the recipe... not the fact that it was hidden. |

" indeed , i have no problem with recipes being hidden. i have a problem when they introduce economy changing recipes suddenly. be it by ggg officially revealing it on release or some dude on reddit revealing it. but sudden crashes in currency is extremely disrupting. they could have just announced it like a month before the planed release , so that the economy has time to prepair, the 20% gems will get a crafting recipe. saying that a month in advance could of saved alot of people alot of grief. just enough information to give the intelligent people all they would need to prepare. i am more criticizing gggs handling of the introduction. for example if they ever get around to giving exalts a recipe, id be all for it , but i dont want them to suddenly say "we added a recipe that can make an exalted using x amount of currency z" and have the exalted orb lose 50% of its value instantly that just isnt healthy Dernière édition par Saltychipmunk#1430, le 19 déc. 2013 à 13:27:19

" If you can make money of recipe then SELLING it would be like stupid thing ever, wouldn't it? Like selling the geese that lays golden eggs, now wouldn't it? Again, Spreading the possible recipe would induce market shifts and demand for, for example of roa feathers which would suddenly cost tenfolds more. So now you found out about magical recipe, haven't made dime of it (almost) and want to sell it immediately? Plus more ppl know more chances of public to find out, making zero profit for all of you guys. All this does not make any sense. It's simply not logical on too many ways even if we accept the possibility if you are very stupid. So you must be troll. " To be fair he said a stack of 10. Maybe it turns green with a stack. Not saying it's true and I can't test it, just pointing it out. I think the secret level is probably right given the patch notes a few patches back, or something similar. Don't think GGG made it so to potentially break the economy... IGN: Rakkarnoth

" *IF* you completed the recipe this season, you would have a feather and a star in your achievement icon, which would then say 2/9 People are assuming too much here. The recipe changes each season, and once it is discovered, GGG starts the demise clock.based on how many uses of the recipe have occured. At least that's what they have done with the first two recipes. 2 of the 3 got a lot of attention both here and on Reddit. It's a "Doh!" Homer Simpson moment when you finally realize what they are. There was a video stream of the third recipe in action, but the owner changed her mind about publicizing it. So.. once a recipe.is found, it has a limited lifetime. People trying these "old" recipes will think others were misleading them. People trying to discover the recipes without understanding that GGG has hidden them in plain sight using guile irony and forum posts that delineate and obfuscate at the same time. Look at the puzzle for the Goddes Unleashed recipe to get an idea what you are up against trying to find the feather recipe. The discoverer of the third recipe wishes to remain anonymous, but she did kindly agree to let me post one hint: "You can let them know they need to use a racing feather, acquired and used during the same event." Aside from the plain albino rhoa feathers, others have been found or datamined-such as the Helical antichromatic retrices, the epipodal arch sprig remiges and of course the final piece the ascending alabaster ventrix.
