you do not know what other materials would be needed for it, you do not know what quantities

and yeah farming roah feathers is something that people who already have everything tend to do

can you imagine how insanely over priced people who find this formula would make their crafts?


recall just recently the 20% gem craft. it obliterated the gcp currency. but one can only fathom how long it was abused for and how many people got extremely wealthy off of it.

weather or not you think it is fair to gate these kind of formulas so as to add a little mystery and wonder to the games frankly quite shit crafting system is irrelevant.

the very fact that the release of the 20% formula on reddit crashed what was once a gold standard currency proves how massive a mistake it is to put these kind of things in the game and then having them suddenly revealed.


this kind of shit needs to be gradually introduced.

not hidden exploited and then out of the blue released to create shock waves in the already shaky economy.

If there was a white socket recipe that anyone knew of, we'd see white socket items linked for sale/trade. The amount of misinformation in this thread is reaching epic levels.

People should care less about the first positions (whether in the ladder or in currency) if they don't have the means to participate in a competitive manner anyway (meaning they lack the time investment). That people can still compete in a solid way in races.

there is a difference between enjoying the game , bieng number one

and having access to a recipe that effectively prints money meaning you get to enjoy all the rare and exciting recipes at the expense of everyone else.
