Funny you mention that. dropped those 2 points just a few minutes before I noticed your answer here.
Luckily I'm still 3 dex over my requirement, so I don't have to respec more. With the 2 free sp I decided to take Sanctity (near templar start) for a nice ehp boost.

my advice to you was "unless you are hitting lvl 98 soon, unspec the 16% cold dmg, allocate Acrimony."

DoT is sufficient for Ubers. The success of the Uber fights will depend on your knowledge of the encounter and skill.

Just tried Uber Cortex once and got my ass kicked. But since it was my first try on doing uber fights, I at least know now what awaits me.

Besides that, I followed Sons example and crafted some new boots:

Had a lucky essence slam with double res and the veiled chaos worked on first try. So I invested like 3.5 div into them. I'm somewhat happy with the result, except the fact that I've forgotten the q30.

currently 57.8k EHP, 4600HP, 23.1k EV, 21.8k AR, 75% all res, 6% chaos res. mainly died to stupid when looting, or when meteors fall from sky. hardly any mob deaths.

48.9m combined dps (against guardian/pinnacle boss)

19.1m creeping frost
18.2m vortex
6.0m vaal cold snap
4.9m cold snap
0.7m volatile anomaly

compared to guide video,
shield was upgraded (10d)
amulet was upgraded (6d)
watcher's eye was upgraded (7d)
chest upgraded to +1 (20d)
chest upgraded again to +1/+2 (75d)
belt upgraded (6d)
boots changed (3d, 1% dps increase, but big increase in health + res + QOL due to onslaught)
flask changed (11d, but not "dps" increase)



plans:
amulet (looking for +2 and dex)
gloves (+2 socketed maybe?)
belt (double implicit deter/male - no more in market sadly)
weapon/shield (looking for +2, and will require self crafting crucible trees)
empower 5

That's quite an insane pair of boots!
