Sexy females
I myself like the female chest sizes how they are right now
Oversexualized female characters tend to really bother me for some reason |

I'll weigh in really quick after reading the first few pages.
It's sexist but most female gamers I've ever known prefer those sexy models to plain ones. Give a girl sliders and watch her make an avatar with huge tatas, a tiny waist, and a rockin' butt. It doesn't mean it won't offend some gamers to add it. As nerdy as it sounds, I am with the crowd who says it "hurts immersion" because the game tries to be realistic, and having a ranger with huge tits isn't realistic. I love that GGG has made some distinctly human characters. The witch isn't sexy, but she is feminine. She may have scoliosis as well. She isn't perfect, but she's badass. The ranger may have butch hair and small boobs but she's got an athletic figure. I hope GGG stays true to their own vision. That's all I want. Anyway, that's my opinion. |

" Holy shit this has been my exact excuse for years! :D This is a game, we aren't expected to want realistic things. The whole point of fantasy games is to experience better things than we can access in real life, to find our inaccessible preferences and experience them to the fullest reasonable extent we can afford. I don't know anywhere in real life where DasRoach can strut around as a magical hottie. As long as it's tolerable by the open-minded gaming majority, I don't see why not. the game is sexy because it's dark and gritty, the feel of the game has nothing to do with west centered ideas of beauty/sex appeal. i really hope, and think, ggg is more mature than this.

Actually, the things you're asking for will - if they are ever implemented at all - probably be found in the item shop.
After all it's just an optical gimmic if your witch has cup size A or DD and doesn't affect gameplay at all. So having alternative skins or even models will be perfectly fine microtransactions. This way those who want some supermodels jump around on Wraeclast can do so while the others can keep their more plain looking standard models. The only thing I would wish for in that case is an option where I can toggle the display of the non-default models (having some sort of black- or whitelist where I can put the character name would be even better). So if I don't want to see non-default models at all, I'd only need a single click in the options and all I'd ever see would be the default models. |

Just what we need, more cliche exploitation of women in video games *rolls eyes*. I don't even want to see this kind of BS in the cash shop, that makes it even worse IMO, whoring them out so to speak.

I'm convinced it would be possible to make for instance bigger-boobed skins without making them overly sexualized, and as long as they wern't made extreme I'd be okay with it the per se.
I would be seruiously dissappointed if that was the only form of buyable skin though, since that would make the whole thing imply that bigger boobs are "better", which could arguably be seen as even more sexist than if it was the standard model. Personally I would be much more interested in other cosmetic features, like changing hairstyle and haircolor, as well as other-sex models of each of the classes. |

There's already skyrim mods if you want boobies o_O

Its not like the entire gaming market isn't flooded with sexualized females already.
Wouldn't like to see supermodel-bodies in this game just for a few pervs/pubescent boys(no offense), it'd destroy the entire game atmosphere. Except maybe, if you give playes a "lore friendly" option in the menu, so if they choose so, they won't see those skins. |

I don't really see the problem. Furthermore, I think this thread is totally moot.
If you think hyper-sexualization is going to turn away all women, then WoW is an anti-thesis to your statement. WoW is, in fact, quite "unnecessarily" sexualized, yet it still has a pretty large female audience. Secondly, PoE harkens back to D2 quite a bit. Both have a female act 1 boss with sexual overtones. Both have female orb holders in the UI. Heck, D2 had "Dark Rangers" in skimpy outfits coming after you in droves. The Amazon was also an "Archer" class (both Ranger and Archer are melee builds, too.), yet she had gigantor breasts. I'm not gonna say Condor/Blizzard North is sexist. I'm going to say, they realized most adults aren't hyper-puritans/sexually repressed beings. Some titillation isn't going to hurt anyone, and it doesn't change the respected game mechanics, at all. And anyway, this thread doesn't matter at all, because it's the voices of a very, very small, vocal minority in the PoE community. Most guys won't come out and say they want titillation. Most women aren't going to say it doesn't bother them. And furthermore, GGG will decide for themselves, does it make sense to make another skin, given the costs of making skins and the audience reception (everyone's, not just the 20 to 30 people who post in this thread). Lastly, please remember, your desire to buy or not buy something does not override somebody else's desire to buy or not buy something. Everyone is here to enjoy the game, has the right to enjoy the game, at whatever potential, not just you. =) P.S - I think this thread might get kicked into the off-topic section eventually, like the previous (two) nudity threads were.
