Once you get multistrike you'll notice this. Your initial 2 swings will be in the direction of your cursor, but multistrike targets random nearby enemies, so even if you don't hit with the first 2 strikes, the next 4 do.

Loving this build so far, even with a 300 pdps weapon it still owns. I'm in very budget gear atm (5L and Soul Taker) but still having a blast.

Soul Taker is the only reason why we use Axes?

This is what i have right now, but now i dont know what should i upgrade.If somebody can help me, i'd be grateful.
I can clean any map easily, but i have some troubles when i have to fight against conquerors or bosses like atziri (havent tried shaper/elder yet) even if i activate the vaal ancestral warchief, i use to die at least 2 times against conquerors. I tought taking the vaal pact node, but idk if it's a good choice. i'd like to be able to do delirium maps, uber elder, etc in the near future with this build.

Hi. Your DPS is pretty low at the moment, so your struggles against bosses are completely normal. Life needs some increasing as well. Let's upgrade your gear. You have 0.94m DPS and 5.2k life at the moment. Swap places of weapons and get a 420pDPS weapon(1.03m), get Required Gear amulet, swift skewering is much better(1.12m), get 9-15 phys. on both rings(1.18m), get boot enchant(1.24m), divine rustic sash(1.25m), make gems 20-20 and add Blood and Sand(I couldn't see it in your setup so manually added myself), also pob somehow can't see Vulnerability on Hit on your ring, added that manually too(1.77m). You'll do much better now but try to increase your DPS until you reach Required Gear DPS at least. There you can do Sirus 8, Uber Elder, etc. no problem. And then you keep on upgrading through Meta Gear for perfection. Don't forget to be on Blood Stance on bosses and Sand Stance while clearing. Also don't forget to increase health to at least 5.9k for easier boss fights. Good luck! Here's the Pob link;

I am now following your guide, and I kinda felt my gladiator is too week, especially in the Heist.

I know the resaon why I died a lot is that my level is too low(only 80) and I didn't get the required gear yet. (What I have: Tabula Rasa, Soul Taker)

However, I couldn't stop thinking that 'Do I have to hold a shield instead of an axe?'

Beacuse I've checked out POE Ninja and much more people get axe & shield, not 2 axes.

If I get all the gear you mentioned, could I feel mine is tanky and powerful?

Hi. Thanks for your nice words! I tried to check your character on Pob but your account is set to private. Shield won't do good because it will be Soul Taker + Shield, and dps will lower a lot. Also I think if going for shield, Versatile Combatant is needed, which will change the build a lot. I suggest checking my previous post in thread(here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2875553/page/20#p23520927). Also Heist part in Running The Build section in guide. With 0.8m DPS(1/3 of Required Gear) and 5.2k life, you can do up to t80 or maybe even higher after deathless recent nerfs in Heist. Also in PoeNinja, if there are many people using Shields with Lacerate, that doesn't mean this build needs a shield. Every build is different than each other even if they use the same base skill:) And yes, you'll be tanky and powerful when you get Required Gear and be much better with Meta Gear. You can check "Experiences and Sucess Stories From Players" part in guide for more info about that.

That's one of the important reasons yes. But other than that, axes have less attack speed and more base damage, which suits better in our case because our attack speed is more than enough already. There are probably some more specific reasons that I can't remember at the moment.

Thanks for the build. Im having a hard time with Sirus. I think I need to change my amulet now, and start looking for a better helmet.

Also, why are you using Fortify with lacerate instead of using it with the leap slam? I don't know but I think we could get much more DPS with a pulverize or damage while full life instead of the fortify in the main combo. Just asking.

Hello there!
I really-really enjoy playing your build, it's my first experience with Lacerate.
But i kinda struggle with upgrading my character past leveling experience.
My friend even gifted me 6l Belly but my damage still bad on killing bosses on yellow maps/heist 72+ (not even talking about killing conquerors or looking into endgame content).

Hey mate - still using the build. My first melee season to be honest so still learning a lot! I'm honestly dying a bunch and struggling against bosses at the moment.. can easily get one shot which doesn't seem right?

Any chance you could give feedback on what I'm doing wrong? Current DPS in POB is coming in around 0.6m with dual slash.. not yet upgraded my gems (still working on it), does that make a huge difference here?

Generally tried to follow the build based on what I could afford, would be appreciated if you had insight into what upgrades or mistakes I am doing; be as brutal as you like. :)
