Help me understand something. There is a shield block node called testudo however i've seen a couple of block builds avoid this. Any reasoning for it? Too much skillpoint investment?

Pretty much so. That's skill points you can invest in DPS.
There is a build that I tried in Harvest before switching to this one, that uses that block cluster, but it lacks the damage:

How do you count the damage of a weapon? Some people in this thread said that you should aim for Paradoxia with at least 180 dps, but how do you count this?

I think they use POE Awakened Trade.

(dmg min + dmg max) / 2 * asp

yet paradoxica double dmg makes it harder to compare with other weapons

Should I get the awakened melee physical support first or brutality first? It seems melee will give me more DPS and brutality will give me some damage reduction. Do I have the right assumption?

What are good annoint? I have budget.

Yes melee phys first but you need level 5 ASAP for intimidation buff
