dual wielding 2(2) handed weapons?
Jessus have said: "Its easier to summon a skeleton then dual wield two flambergs."
Besides the fact that Merrya76 said about katanas - weapons work in specific ways and are used that way for a reason. Dual wielding knifes, sword and specific knife, axes or maces have sense - it wasn't common but it can be usefull. Two long swords = you are useless then dead. Its about dark fantasy not real life. And again as Merrya76 said - no class restriction so two skinny chicks of PoE could run with two sledge hammers or two staffes haha |

The raw damage output can be balanced by penalties to accuracy and attack speed.
Bigger issues are: 1) how this set up interacts with skills 2) how to balance advantage of having a 3rd 6 slot gear MightyZealot the Wand Witch

" Accuracy penalty would be a bad idea because it can be voided by Resolute technique, which would be relatively easy to get for either the duelist or the marauder. A flat weapon damage reduction of 20% and/or attack speed reduction would be ideal as these can never really be ignored. 1) Just treat two handed weapons as one handed weapons for the pupose of skills and passives, when equipped with the off hand filled. 2) That 3rd 6 slot won't really make much difference considering it'd be for one of your less used skills or to buff the potency of a number of other less used skills. Plus getting 3 pieces of gear with 6 linked slots is unrealistic and you would be quite powerful before that. Dernière édition par Fuuljo#6077, le 21 avr. 2012 à 08:21:16
