dual wielding 2(2) handed weapons?

I have noticed that this is not a passive skill. I assumed the marauder would have this skill souly on him being the biggest strongest class in POE, but yet it doesn't exist. It almost seems wrong to me not to have it i mean through out games dual wielding 2hands has been the norm. of course you make it a difficult skill to reach and have draw backs I.E. slower attacks more chance to miss etcetera. Could someone clear this up for me as to why it isn't in the game. Yes i know it is beta... are you planning on adding it later?

It's because you can't wield a bloody greatsword with 1 hand.
Thats not true.. you can its just HARD! I'm sure there is allot of people in the world right now that could do it. may be very slow difficult to use but there are people.

Have you seen the marauder?
This is something I've wanted for a while, of course it has to have some penalties for it not to be too OP, but heck, I've been waiting for this!
Presents a TON of balance complications. Not only the raw normal attack dps balancing, but skill balancing as well, since 2H get access to different skills than DW would normally have. For example Cleave has a penalty specifically for DW so it isn't OP: Sweep has no such penalty.
Or better and may be more balanced to

A. Add Various Swords that can be 1H and 2H depending on the load out, in other words; if only weapon Equiped 2H, if used with Shield or Offhand 1H, worked in D2.

B. Make it possible to wield a 2H Weapon in in Main hand only, so no complete Duel wielding 2H but it would be treated as a 1H in regards of 1H affecting Passive skills.

Making it so that you could still utilize a Heavy Strength Dual Weilding build with a 2H + 1H offhand setup.

That or Create a multiplier on the passive that would reduce the weapons efficiency to essentially that of a 1H with a Low-Strength build and increases with Strength.

Oh I forgot the most OP thing about about DW 2h: gemslots. Having 2 6 slot weapons would be a ridiculous advantage over every other build. Even with 2H + 1H it's still an extremely significant bonus.
I'm against wielding 2-handed weapons in 1-hand. They are not superheroes. They are exiles.

There's a reason (in real life) why you use a hand and a half sword primarily with two hands and why you'd wield a heavy rapier with a dagger. And not wield a hand and a half sword with a twin, or with a buckler. You lose a lot more than you can gain.

It's more than just strength, it's also about finesse. Even if you had a strength, you'd be one of the 10 people in the entire world who could do it and allll those techniques you learned with the balance and weight of a weapon would be moot and you'd have to come up with your own forms, etc.

Have you seen the marauder? Just give him a mallet and Krunk can smash.

And if this was implemented the first thing I'm doing is powerleveling my underfed witch to that keystone passive and walking around with the two biggest swords I can find and thinking about how unreasonable this is. And how unhappy and spiteful I've become. :P
I remember this is the first keystone example GGG told us about. So they are definitely thinking about it, it might be hard to balance though, that's why it's taking so long.

Many drawbacks are possible :

- Can't use weapon sockets
- Reduced movement speed
- no block (or less block)
- big accuracy malus
-...
