[3.14] Gannicus, God of the Arena – Deathless Uber Elder for Everyone

Nice to get feedback from someone in the league. I don't notice the damage nerf either but I play on standard now and my gear is very good so that's expected.
Have fun with it in the league.

Me Im almost completly stuck in this league.
Nothing drop, no currency, no items, nothing. I can barely map t1 at lvl 7x.
I've drop 3 ( 3!) crapy uniques this league. That's all.

I realy wanted to try this build, but at this point I might just skeep the league ; (

To be honnest my drop were poor BUT harvest is a very effective way to get some neat weapon.
you just have to get a litlle bit lucky.
I 'm currently running rare T7 with a 5L BS setup and nothing fancy stuff wise.
run like a charm. i just got an attack speed Anvil for something like 2c.
It's tanky as hell.
That build does work on a budget.

I try this build in metamorph and i was able to clear end game content BUT it was really hard to get the high DPS block swords.
That league remove that requirement and as far as i'm concern i'm considering that as a buff just like the OP.
Was happy with the build in metamorph , i'm happier now!

Indeed the biggest problem people had was getting the block swords. It's way easier to gear up now.

This is what dual wielding provides. I don't understand your question.

First off all, I really like the build and i've just done my first Sirus with it. However, it is pretty difficult to find a block sword with more than 250dps on the market. Is is more difficult to find swords this league?

Well I can't answer that because I'm obviously not playing the league but in theory it should be easier with all the crafting going on.

But you don't actually need block swords since you have block on your armour. Just take all the block nodes on the tree and you're set. You can use regular swords.

On a different note, apparently we have belt enchants now. They're all useless for us though with the exception of "Enemies Blinded by you have 30% reduced Critical Strike Chance" which of course only works while in sand stance. Not particularly useful but if you have the chance, get that one.

You need only one block sword (if any) ,A scaeva is more than 250 dps. mine is 285. and it is dirt cheap.
rigwald is just a bit lower than 300 pdps.
So basically a 250+ pdps block sword is easy to get.
A 400+ pdps block sword is very hard to get, in fact there is allmost no supply. but this was the same with previous league anyway.

After that you can have ,if you are rich a 400+ dps swords (starting 2 ex on poe trade) with no block chance.

Thanks for the replies. I'm satisfied with my current swords, I really just wanted a way to remove the block from my chest and craft max life :p
