Well it wouldn't be a new league launch without bugs. Although I must say this time we haven't had many. Turns out that if you finish development more that 2 hours before launch you have fewer bugs. Who knew?

Thank you for the build. I am trying it for this league. Do you think Gladiator's Perseverance passive could be useful in this build? It gives increased Physical Damage and improves life leeching, also attack speed before the notable.

Yes Gladiator's Perceverance is a very good node. You can get those 3 nodes instead of Razor's Edge. In general you'll lose a bit of damage because this is not a Slayer so you're not leeching all the time. While you're leeching though you'll have more or less the same damage (a bit more in the Impale version). The increased leech cap though is more important and it makes it worth getting. I'll probably add it to the build too.

Disclaimer: i'm absolutely not trying to talk down dualwield version,
just my experience! After i've spent the better part of metamorph trying to roll or buy good +block swords i just tried a shield version of this build. Basically all the gear is the same, except the shield. I replaced all dualwield nodes with shield nodes on the tree. tl;dr you get a shitton of additional defense, while barely losing damage. Boy, where do i even start. Using a shield with some armor + a bunch of "global defenses from equipped shield" nodes means a respectable amount of armor, which in turn means we can take advantage of molten shell/VMS I went from 3k to 9-12k armor (no flasks) Block is much easier to cap One cheap (!) unique shield option is Lioneye's Remorse which provides up to 220 flat hp and up to 1700 armor. Thats A LOT. You can instead go for a rare shield and some OP defensive rolls. "+2 to minimum endurance charges" "recover 5% life on block" "gain a frenzy, power or endurance charge on block" are all insane. Rare shield also makes getting one or two chaos res rolls on gear much easier. For specific boss encounters you can go Aegis Aurora or Rise of the Phoenix for +5 max res. If you use a cheap unique shield, you'll also have access to OP corruptions like extra block chance, extra maximum block chance, or "%physical damage taken as cold/fire/lightning" I've lost about 10-12% damage on my build by going shield. If i go Lioneye's Remorse, drop some life on the tree, and get one more damage cluster i actually gain damage while retaining same hp total. Dernière édition par vtepezh, le 16 mars 2020 08:20:27

I'm doing this build as League Starter and i can just say thanks to you.
Really having a lot of fun, and clearly this is a really good build :) As somebody said on a recent post, i might give it a chance with The Surrender shield once i get it, might be worth the try. Anyway, thanks for your time and effort! | |

Thank you for your build. I'm new to POE but having fun with this build.
If I take the Diamond Skin route instead of the Barbarism route, it increases Phys. Damage reduction by 4% and armour by 26% but sacrifices 4.5% of life. Which is more important, armour or life? |

We have low armour so it's pointless to try to increase it. Just follow the tree, that's the best option especially if you're new to the game.

Swap Dread Banner -> War Banner, use Impale support, and grab one impale cluster on the tree. Watcher's Eye with "impale lasts 2 additional hits while using pride" is a big dps upgrade, but also very expensive. |
