[3.13] SPECTRE SUMMONER (2021 Edition) Necromancer Build. BEST League Starter! + VIDEO GUIDE!

I can highly recommend picking up Acrobatics/Phase Acrobatics.
This is what I'm currently using but if you want to pick up necromantic aegis you can also move through the bottom: https://pastebin.com/Xt85VR2Y

You lose around 10% life for 40% dodge chance (massive eHP improvement) while at the same time completely removing the need for dex on your gear.
Another benefit is the fact that we don't have any leech, so dodging hits is helping immensely in managing life flasks. I respecced into life for a couple hours (only increased my life by about 900) and mapping felt so much worse so I went back pretty quickly.

I don't care about any map mods and just charge through everything and rarely ever drop in hp thanks to dodge and blind on hit.

That's a pretty cool setup, but you rely entirely on 1L Animated Guardian and he will rip on any decent boss or high damage. No skellies means you have no meat shields. No Aegis means no Power Charges. And your ignite only works off 1L Animated Guardian's Combustion which is just not reliable on the long term.

I have done the entire content sans uber elder up to level 96 and my AG has never been in any danger so far since he is level 24 and uses southbound + belly of the beast and I'm running purity for ele resistance. For uber elder I plan on replacing holy relic with minion life to make sure he survives.

I dropped empower just yesterday to make place for combustion to get some more extra damage since my AG didn't seem to need it to stay alive.

If someone doesn't have 21 AG and +3 minion helmet they can just use minion life on him instead and either replace combustion or move one of the minions somewhere else or drop holy relic alltogether.

I'd love to fit in power charges for my spectres but my damage is already amazing to the point where I'm charging through t16 maps without ever stopping so I'd rather have the extra res/life/block + skillpoints for myself. The PoB DPS doesn't even account for the -9% fire from AG helmet and -50% fire from EE yet.
It's easily possible to pick up Aegis by moving through the bottom half instead of the top if someone really wants to use it. I still can't overstate enough how amazing the 40% dodge are for this build.

I made the switch from empower to ignite just recently, so I've yet to see how reliable it is. It affects my relic, golem and AG though, so I was fairly certain that a 49% chance to ignite on 3 minions with good attack speed should be enough to keep it up on bosses.

Your minions neeed source of addded fire damage in order to ignite. Combustion alone does not make them automaitically "ignite" things. Holy Relic and Stone Golem have none. Not so sure about your AG too

Ah, that's less convenient than I thought then. Guess I'll have to give him some gloves or boots with added fire for that then if I can't somehow give him fire damage via the rare helmet.

Still should be enough to keep ignite on bosses then with a 49% chance and good attack speed. It's just a minor improvement I figured out yesterday anyway and not integral in any way.
can anyone help out ?
I tried using a bound fossil on a 1h handed mace a few times now but i only get around 45-50% minion damage ? am i doing something wrong ? i saw that you have 92% minion damage on your weapon on end game gear.
the weapons i used are 80+ ilvl

a lvl 75 1h weapon must craft 75-80 minion damage.
I think you just hit a lower tier. How many you tried?
Anyway, a temple mace is like 10c nowadays. So you don't really need bound fossil

I am just not so sure such an investment is needed at all honestly. Basically if i unlick ignite = you have same damage as in my pob.
But it made me thinking about Combustion tbh. Shows me more damage than Elemental Focus, and ignite can actually stack

Not sure what investment you mean. I have a free socket in my helmet and have to put a specific piece on AG for a ~19% damage boost.
That investment is more than worth it.

I'm running enfeeble + purity for even more safety while you run anger, and even with that my damage is still a bit higher.
If you factor in EE and ignite it gets vastly higher.
I also get my shield for myself (again more safety) where you get the powercharges for your spectres.
And last but not least, I also have phase acrobatics so I can even facetank syndicate.

Damage wasn't even what I was trying to say though, I mainly just wanted to bring attention to how good acrobatics is in this build since it provides way more eHP than pure life, lets you save flasks and also fixes your dex problems. Especially if you go for necromantic aegis you already made half the investment needed to get there and can probably reach the same total life due to the life clusters around it.

Really enjoying the build so far, just finished uber lab and a bit torn on what ascendancy skill to pick.

I know the guide says Puppet Master/Commander of Darkness, but does anyone have thoughts on swapping one of them for Bone Sculptor?

With extra skeletons, plus using Vaal Skeletons, wouldn't this add more dps, particularly for bosses/betrayal encounters?
