Would a pure phys cyclone build deal more damage with a 30% quality Disfavour or Starforge?

All other things aside (cost of items/life on starforge/weapon range/etc), which of the two would provide more damage for a pure physical build? I've seen conflicting information on both.
I've tried setting both up in PoB and from what I can tell, Starforge overall does more DPS as a whole, even if it doesn't benefit as much from the 30% quality recipe. Thoughts? Dernier bump le 30 mars 2018 à 02:47:15

There shouldn't be any doubts. Starforge is the indisputable winner even if only the raw phys damage is taken into account. The base damage is higher, hence the % increase by quality brings better results.
Overall DPS of Starforge is also higher due to higher AS. Which on a side note is crucial for cyclone. The shock multiplication aside (though it's arguable against top tier bosses without shock duration, but anyway). Starforge easy, disfavor does more dps if you apply elemental conversions, but for pure phys it's starforge.

Actually remember that Starforges base is not as high as Disfavour.
Starforge has higher % increased Phys damage, disfavour has higher added damage. Disfavour is better to 30% quality because of this. AND of course the bleeding and range bonuses are too good to pass up. Plus the axe bonuses are better. Disfavour (and if you can get one later, a super hate splitter) are the best weapons for cyclone. |

Outside of the insane damage it brings, the fact that phys can shock (hello vaal lightning trap), it also brings 100 flat life. Deliver pain exquisite

You also assume that I'm going for HS, which is a mirror axe in standard. This isn't the case. Though in fairness, I didn't specify it would be in league (though it's typically implied). They're not misinformed, it seems more like you are. |

Starforge. Not to mention has huge life and can shock if you get a bunch of shock jewels. Probably has 50% more DPS for real
