Loot from 3 harbinger maps / 10 harbinger guys

People avoid the chaos recipe to extremes it seems, and I can’t actually tell why. It can get very time consuming for sure, but I just enter thinking “hat, boots, gloves, body, weapon” and pick rares quickly as they drop. If there is a huge lootsplosion, drop a portal and build a chaos set or two.

I understand why picking every rare and trying to micromanage inventory is time consuming, but I don’t understand why it is being discarded entirely when there are more efficient ways about it. There is a staggering amount of chaos being left behind in the spirit of gotta go fast.
You will make more chaos/hour in the long run by not doing the chaos recipe and spending the time killing more times to proc the rng roulette.

I loved Harbringer League so i was sooooo excited to see Zana level 8 mod.
And since i am only doing maps atm (since 3.1 chasing T15 Elder so i can finally do some end game :( i started doing HArbringer mod, kept my finding is a seperate tab and was surprised of the outcome (shocked is a better word i guess) after 100 maps i quit this mod, it is nerfed, yet again, to death, why this is a level 8 mod, i dunno but the others are ALL beter.....

So if you loved Harbringer, dont try the zana 8 mod because you will be very, very, very dissapointed about the drops......

Yeah but in all these threads you see do you see people complaining about lack of chaos orbs? you run out of chisels, vaals and alchs not chaos, and while your right we leave chaos behind on maps we clear an extra one in the time and just find another chaos on the ground.

Its a great currency generator for players that enjoy a slower pace (or SSF) but if your interested in making currency your best off not doing it.

I am SSF, i do the shit out of chaos/regal/exalt recipe ofc

Also even though 10 harbingers isn`t much, not getting a single annul or harbinger SHARD says enough.

I know this is the dogma, but I anecdotally do not find it to be true. If the other guy ran one more map and found one more chaos, I got 2 just from filling half my inventory once on one map run. 100 maps later, he has done maybe 20 more maps than me. Did he find an exalt from those maps, because I have 200 more chaos than him.

I wrote a long paragraph explaining how and why you're completely wrong, but then I decided to delete it.

I'll just ask you a question instead: have you actually tried chaining high-tier maps with proper speed clearing and compared your results over the course of a few days doing that?

You have to be realistic about these things.

I could use the long paragraph, because yes, and I stay by my results. Why wait for lightning to strike when I can just build a power plant?
There are ways to do the chaos recipe without the tons of overhead of micromanaging it. If it adds 30 seconds to my mapping experience, I would be shocked.

1. Rings/Amulets are the long pole in the tent. Grab them always, toss them into a tab.
2. When that tab starts getting filled, make a note to grab one of each slot as you run through maps.
3. Finish map. Go to stash. Get next map. Get 2 rings/1 amulet. Sell for 2 chaos.
4. Open new map. Go to step 1 until tab is sufficiently depleted.
Thanks for all the fish!
"with proper speed clearing"

Wut? Is there some board that meets somewhere and establishes guidelines as to what is "proper" and what is not?

This is pretty much exactly how I do it. If you run a map where the bosses are high drop ( multiple bosses or enraged rhoas) then you are practically guaranteed 2 chaos for less than 5 seconds of clicking. It’s not like I am going slow the rest of the 90seconds it takes to clear the map holding shield charge.
