[3.6] Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist

can someone look this over and tell me if Im about where I need to be for uber elder?


I have red elder spawned and im slowly levelling 15 maps, then a guardian, but I think I'll run out of map room before I hit 90.

I just blew a few more ex to make inpulsa 6l, got resists set with mark of shaper+ warlords ring, and I have 2 stat stick daggers which are middling OK.


I have a taste of hate on my other map clearing character, so thats good to go too.


red maps feel pretty good, but I've only killed red elder a few times in the past - never went for shaper or uber (this character is specifically for doing those before leagues end).

tl;dr - I've dropped my load on this guy and I want to do uber with him but I have no idea of how to judge where he stands at the moment.

looking for anyone to point out holes or other minor twaks I could make to give uber/shaper my best shots prior to leagues end.

Something like those (Effective crit in PoB around 75%)

Sceptre selfmade from chaos burning ~2k, annul 1 bad mod, block prefixes, scour it and mastercraft in the end. Spend some divines for max double extra ele.

Overall sitting at 2,3kk DPS in PoB (no mirror god tier gear).
Tree is DPS/Life/Acro/Phase Acro.

1.8mill dps on the build now, more than enough to clear any content. I cna push it further, but investing in survivability is also kind of nice :)


My recommendation this league, is to get a cheap shaper base and spam the fossils. You get good stuff easily.

So I got a 6L Inpulsa now and I'm in a bit of dilemma on what to use in the 6th slot. I see a lot of the top people on ladder use Increased Duration instead of what is suggested in the guide. That seems very attractive because than I could respec all the duration nodes?

Although they are running the non-crit EO version, so I dunno

I see you talking about *milion dps...and I dont understand where I'm wrong.

My stats atm, and i think my gear is not the best...but ok.

If you want the most out of your Culling Strike linked to Shield Charge, then quality it. Otherwise, you could throw it into your Lightning Golem links (dropping one of the two you considered doing already). From there, you can move your now 3L movement setup to your shield, and move the Heralds to your helmet and throw in an Enlighten 3 or 4 as a fourth link to give yourself a larger pool from which MoM can work with.

When looking for a shaper statstick, what's the benefit of going Sword? Seems to me it's not able to pull the same DPS boost as Dagger/Scepter unless you get a GG sword with dmg on full life + 2x extra.

You would need a 3 gain mods + pen dagger to beat a 2 gain mods + pen 35% crit multi implicit foil.

I would lose damage.

The first is a loss of 6.2%, the second is a loss of 4.6%.

A 3 gain mod + pen dagger doesn't exist on Delve softcore. You can purchase a 2 gain mod + pen foil for 10-20 ex.

Any other whirling blades one handed weapon would increase this damage loss.
