That long post from a page ago has so much bullshit in it I don't even know where tostart to correct everything... So lemme just get the two must crazy ones.

WB being better than SC:

Simply wrong. Since the rework of SC this patch total APS of the weapon does not matter anymore. Just local %attack speed matters. A 1.2 APS mace will be as fast as a 1.9 APS mace, as long as both have the same amount of % inc attack speed. This makes it insanely easy to find good a good main hand, no matter if dagger, mace, sword or axe. And without solid investment into attack speed WB will always be way worse than SC. As I said it is wrong. They are at least on the same level, with the difference that WB needs stuff like green dream (wasted jewel socket?) and the attack speed enchant to get to that level. Use whatever feels better for you.

Spell crit being anywhere near as important as "% physical as extra X":

Like what? I get it, get as much crit as you can, but only getting one "as extra" mod because you want spell crit and spell damage? You would need 300% total to come somewhere near what 40% extra gives. I mean, it is crazy easy to reach 90% effective crit chance on this build... No need to waste tons of damage on diminishing returns of spell crit. And also, I think the "people you saw in this thread not getting enough crit" were the ones that play this with EO. There are tons of those in nthis thread.

Just to make my point, in PoB remove the spell crit mods on both your weapons, add a Diamond Flask instead of a Quicksilver or Quartz Flask and add two 40% "as extra X" mods. You have 100% uptime of the flask too. And 90%+ effective crit chance.

Gotta ask is it possible to run a mf version of this build, and farm lower tier maps, like burial chambers?

Yes, it is also possible to make a full mf version of this and farm T16 Elder Haunted Mansion with it, thats how powerful it is. Only mf gear you can't use are Sadimas Touch as Hrimsorrow are needed to make this work.

Yes Ofc , im running Mf build for mapping up to t16 guardians with 2 ventor's , bisco's collar/leach and Goldwyrm.

WB actual speed, when you press it once, is very fast.
you move from where you clicked to the targeted location quickly.
but the thing that annoys me is that there is a delay until the next time you can attack, thats what makes it so clunky!

SC is slower, but there is much less "dead time" until you can SC again.

i guess WB is better for dodging stuff, but without big investment to attack speed it just feels bad for me right now.

also getting life on a shield is very nice.

its seems like you got 75% average resists how you survive?
and saw you dont use the triple herald gems. why is that?
just going based on the leaderboards, seems like elemental overload is the way to go for delves
This build is OP as hell and with the use of reduced hatred reserved from hat and some node from the passive tree I was able to fit hatred in and using watcher's eye on top of it. Its so broken that I one shot tier 15 boss with vaal blade vortex.

Only in extreme depths. Up to 500-600 crit is actually better because it is faster and the survivability is enough.

Ok you guys can test out ur self, but WB feels alot faster for me. Problem with shield charge is heavy reliance on movement speed, and bad pathing (still charges when there is no path, wasted cast).

Leaderboards are meaningless, they choose EO because it's much MUCH easier to gear, so they can dump their saved up currency to a HH and it's slightly better for pack clearing. Their sole objective is pack clearing, survival and exp, not progression, and end game boss farming.
