Why are cosmetics SO expensive?

I dont like steam. Only online model of game sales is gog.com - rest is just drm.

There expensive because the few have ruined it for the many, it is the few gamers who are willing to spend such amounts that ruin it for the many gamer who wont, if those few gamers used their wealth to better aid world sch as helping the needy then wouldn't be a problem, but they lose touch of morality when have over abundance of resources, sadly they learn hard way when pass on from here the cost spiritually was underworlds. In order words it continues to occur because their is a few willing to pay such prices, and it is those few that leads company's to continue to push the boundary, if you remember when mtx began it was originally all micro.

MTX is not price to be resaonable, but price to be massively high for the few but $ willing whales to spend their moeny. Most F2P have whales model, GGG just took it to supernova.

Let face it, the lightning pet is purely an experience of GGG to see how many of its whales are willing to pay for it, & exploit the loyalty of these players. It was never intend to be affordable for the average players.

but lucky me, I think most of thr MTX armors looks ugly, so I do not feel like I need to buy.

Yet GGG didnt intoduced power for money model, so no matter how much money anyone spents there will be not power differences between playes paying and not paying. So it is great actually and if i have to choose that model or p2w model or even p2get some advatage or pay2 even progress i stay with PoE and GGG.

Also MTXes regular prices are overpriced so that is why You should wait for discount. Unless Youa re one of the "i have to have it NAO!!!!111one". Then well stop complaining.

So in the begining i wanna explain how i get into this topic. I typed "why poe is so expensive" in the google. And the reason why i typed it is very simply - i do think it is expensive and i was curious why. Thats pretty funny for a Free to play game isnt it?


So Fan Boys will tell me now "wtf free to play game expensive? nuts dude?". Yes it is expensive because i felt like i play "trial version" before i got some stash tabs, currency tabs etc.

So rather than buying all those stash etc. i would rather pay for the game and get it all from the start. Its my opinion because i am adult (over 30) and i earn money each month. But i can understand the way it is because its cooler for ppl that dont earn money and can play this game anyway.

Now the thing is, once i started to play a lot i was thinking "why my char isnt looking shiny/sexy/cool the way its supposed to be in the game like that?", so i checked and wooops suprise suprise mother.... I would still simply buy it but the moment i saw the price i was stunned - like perma stunned to death :)

There is no way i will pay the price of the full new game just to buy a 1 weapon cosmetic. Sure noone is forcing me but wtf kind of thinking is that? They dont want my money? it makes me not buying anything at all from them even more. Sure i can buy supporter packs etc but i alrdy paid enough for this game and yes games this days cost around 20$ (some are more expensive but i would say still no more than 30$ ---> pls dont throw examples of games that cost more cos its pointless).

So just to put my 2 cents in this problem:

Please note down another 1 potential customer who is not giving you any money at all because of overpriced cosmetics.

ps. I really love the game and i spend around 50$ to get all those stash tabs/currency tabs etc. But i consider it as a limit reached for at least 1 year of gaming (i am around 5 months of playing atm).
