Graphic card crash / black screen

Hello.. When i'm playing my card crashes randomly and screen goes black for couple seconds, it happens approximately once in an hour, sometimes i get the 'no signal' in screen and sound starts looping so i have to force reboot whole PC. I haven't found any connection to this it seems to be completely random. It's getting really annoying specially playing in HC league. This doesn't happen in other games, Last time i played several months ago i didn't have this issue and haven't made any changes to my PC. Would be nice if someone could help me fix this issue!
Things i've done so far: Tried different drivers, reinstalled game, tried different monitors, fullscreen/windowed, also it's not overheat problem.
Here are my specs if they mean anything: https://4stor.com/fl50x
We don’t want trade to be too convenient. We’ve seen what happens in other games, and also in our own game, when trade is too easy. It lets people bypass content way too quickly,” - Chris.

Yep, same thing happening to me, sadly. I've mostly had it crash in town, but just now I had a crash in a combat zone. It's a complete graphical freeze. I'm also using an NVidia card (GTX660Ti), but our systems are pretty different overall (AMD processor, more RAM, dual monitors running @ 2560x1440, gaming monitor @96Hz). I don't remember having any graphical crashes prior to v2.3.0. Hopefully they can get it sorted out. I see similar issues in other posts here on the technical support forum likely related to the same issue. Just to be safe, I updated to the latest NVidia drivers, but it may have made things worse, as now I'm crashing in combat areas, whereas before I only crashed in town.
Weird that you were only crashing in towns.. This doesn't happen to you in other games, right?

Yeah, it is still happening pretty often. In fact, I just checked in after my most recent crash to see if anyone else was having similar issues. I hope they figure out what's going on, as it's a complete system freeze that I have to do a hard reset to remedy. It takes awhile for it to occur. Maybe, and I'm just guessing at this based on past experience with other games, it's some sort of video card memory leak, such that eventually, the memory fills up and has no place to put new graphical information, so the card freezes up? Oh, and no, I have no issues with any other games I've played recently. The last big budget title I played on this PC was Fallout 4, and I think I played the Witcher 3 on it, as well, until I realized how much more fun it would be to play it on the HTPC in my living room instead. :)

Anyway, I'll keep checking back, and of course will let you know if I hear of a solution.

Take care.

Yep, still getting regular crashes. I had one (and only one) that told me the graphics driver had crashed and recovered, which didn't lock up my PC or crash the game, just blanked out the screen for a moment, but I suspect it was the same error, just one that didn't cause an unrecoverable BSOD.
sounds like a hardware issue.

my nvidia 670 died this way 3 years ago, other games like oblivion ran fine while i would get occasional blackscreens in poe with the sound still playing in the background. which only a reset could help.

found the reason: the card was overclocked by the manufacturer but they didn't increase the voltage of the card appropriately, so the increased current flowing through the card destroyed it slowly.

what helped: i increased the card's voltage with afterburner (there were also customzed bios updates but that seemed to risky for me) but that only worked for 3 months then the blackscreens would return and eventually the pc wouldn't even boot the first time after a reset.

eventually i exchanged the card for gtx780 and everything was fine again.

---

it's not that poe destroyed the card, it's that it really stresses them, especially in part play or with some effects. which is fatal if the card is not working properly.

I can play every other games fine, I can't see it being hardware issue and only PoE detecting that fault in GPU.

Yeah, same here, all the recent titles I've played have run great, no crashes, hours and hours of continuous play (Fallout 4, Witcher 3, etc.)
I experienced this one as well.

It's very random. 3 times in different zones on different days so far. I had to do force reboots for all 3 times. It's like complete black screen and none of the keys work. Not even alt-f4. One time there was a sound loop before the complete black screen. Could this signify a sound issue that affected graphics drivers or something?

My system plays fine with other games.

Now I've reinstalled new AMD graphics drivers. And Reinstalling the standalone version of the game.
