increase rate of Trials found in maps

This is ridiculous, 0:25 found in mapping today.

Why the hell is the spawn rate soo god damn low?
Also , why the fuck would you make it so you encounter the same ones over and over with a few never spawning. This is a general complaint i see in global, where they find the same trial repeatedly.

Increase the rate they spawn,
and just make it so you have to get 6 of the lab item to run the lab.

Fire the moron who thought rng in rng in rng was a good idea for gating content.

I'd be OK with the current spawn rate if we didn't need an offering to the goddess every time we wanted to run the endgame lab.

GGG should let the players run the endgame lab at-will, or vastly reduce the helmet grind (narrow the selection somehow, 1/360+ wasn't good for unlimited access merc lab, and now it's total insanity for scarcity access endgame lab).

Require offering to the goddess at the ascendancy booth in endgame lab, or find another use for it.
Never underestimate what the mod community can do for PoE if you sell an offline client.
I did around 100 maps and found 0 trails, really uncool gating of 2 ascendancy skill points, not even talking about trying to enchant the darn helm and rest of equipment.

Would be much better if we didnt need the goddess item to entry like OP wrote. Unlock it and do whenever you want, since its not like you get 100% increased drop rate inside the lab, its just normal content for its prupose.

There are few others way too (all of them should increase trails in maps frequency):

1)Increase trail appearnce rate even more, still it will be annoying to make those unfun trails each time to get 1 entry item.

2)After you unlock lab, make each monster chance to drop entry item.

3)Super high increase of the apperance of trails till you unlock all 6 of them (since 2 ascedancy points shouldnt be so much gated.

I do not think 25% will be enough, they have to at least double (100%) of the current spawn rate. I would be lucky to get a trial around 12-15 maps as it is. It is already a pain to deal with Uber Izaro and on top of having a very low spawn rate (uncommon would imply more common than rare).

Considering that the trials are completely random, I'd like to see them at least once every 5 or 6 maps. The rate at which the trials appear right now is just like it's a flavoring for people that already map several hours a day.

AFAIK, you only need to do it once per league. Temp league is 3 months, I find it hard to believe you couldnt get it in 3 months.

I agree with Vhlad, Trials itself is fine. What we need is offering drop outside of map laby trials. May be in Laby merc or something. May be GGG should add to Argus Merc loot table.

It took me around 25-30 maps to find a trial. Without global 820 I would be farming until next week for my +2 ascendancy points. Not to mention all those bugs associtaed with trials and uber lab.

Im kind of disappointed by a patch of GGG the first time.

Depends on how long you play, and what your clear speed looks like. A couple hours of play for me is like ten-fifteen maps (no whirling blades, incinerate, play all maps not just gorges, full loot, and I don't push the limits). If I played all day I'm sure I could find the trials relatively quickly. But a couple hours per day, is what I'm usually willing to spend on path of exile. So at the upper most limit for me, 10-15 maps per trial is what I'd be willing to do, just so I felt like there was progress. But then each trial is random, so you may get repeats.

To put up with this kind of shift in map meta and reasonably acquire the trials I'm either forced to do 1 of 2 things:
1. Pool resources with other people, which I generally don't do, I like playing by myself.
2. Run a bunch of white tiered maps and skip clearing them entirely. With a quicksilver flask or two, this should be really fast. White tiered maps can barely do damage to me too so I don't have to worry about survivability.

Neither one of those options appeals to me. But I might start doing number 2, after I rebuild my pool of white tier maps, which I normally just vendored up.
Grind has become slavery in this game.
