General Discussion - Ascendancy kinda sucks - Forum

I think every character should be able to obtain every sub-class skilltree by going to the very starting point of the character you want to take the sub-class traits from. That would be a lot more interesting and more POElike. For exapmple you could start off as a marauder and take 'Unstoppable' passive and then go to templar starting point for the 'Pious Path'. Since both templar and marauder have melee damage nodes at their starting points, all points would be efficient. Just so your character would look different but be identical in every meaningful way as the one who started on the class you traveled to? And I couldn't get Harrier (and its predecessors) at all if I started Witch or Ranger. Even 5-7 points do matter much if it is raw stats vs some useful passives. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff.
