Evasion is dead? I don't think so!

I think your post solidifies that evasion is dead. You are barely surviving with LC and Taste of Hate. That is not a pure evasion character. In the past, you needed neither of these to survive difficult maps. And yes my armour character could roll this map with barely dipping my hp pool.

You character also uses LC and ToH, so same point applies - you're not a "pure armour" character.

Evasion has always been about taking occasional big hits and evading the rest. I don't see why people say "your hp constantly drops below 50% it's so bad etc." OP is rushing a reflect, -max, -recovery map, reaving huge packs and facetanking pretty much everything, even when it's not needed. That's not the safest way to play this map, to put it lightly.

Maybe some pure armor fans should try to make a build that stacks nothing but armor, no LC/ToH/Fortify/Extra end charges/Block/AA/Chaos Golem. And if that is not a viable way to build a character, then why stacking nothing but evasion should be?

I can easily run a 76 without LC and ToH. Armour just works better with stacking those this.

Alrighty, 5.5k eva -- that's still laughably low for a so-called "evasion build". That's like what, 40-something evade chance? 50? Would you call it a block build with only 50% block chance?

Enfeeble synergizes with anything, it reduces ALL incoming damage and reduces enemy crit chance and crit plier. Lots of HC non-eva guys use enfeeble, should they stop using it because it synergizes with eva?

Faceroll any maps you want but don't tell stories about the viability of eva, especially when you pretty much just shot yourself in the foot:

What is oh so terrible about having to use endurance charges, AA or enfeeble on an evasion character?

Well by that logic I guess Elemental Hit is a great skill, nevermind the fact that you gimp yourself and have to use a dozen crutches to make it borderline viable.

"WE'VE BEEN CAREFUL WHEN DESIGNING THE GAME SO THERE'S NO PAYING FOR GAME CONTENT OR ADVANTAGE IN THE GAME", he explained. "WE'VE PURPOSEFULLY DIVORCED ANY GAME MECHANICS FROM THE MONETIZATION."
Evasion mechanics is fine and its good stat with own benefit -it is effective mitigation against damage added as element.
But with overcapping resists being the thing and fewer/worse pathing for life nodes on east side people rather smack that armour.

About 70k dps reave crushing a physical reflect, half regen, -max, extra ele damage 76 map in ~6mins, and facetanking one of the hardest hitting physical boss in the game is "borderline viable".

I guess I'm done with this thread. Have fun with your armor builds.
Am I just blind or is that a cock you're fighting in the first post and not the dog?
