For the love of god... (another pants thread)

I guess it would be almost sad to lose this "feature". It attained the legendary status, it is a meme-enabler now.

For example, half of my character names are themed around having no pants (~I love playing Templar)

Plus, you CAN have pants - for a few coins, that is.

You know... I've been asking this since 2011. :D

I play POE with two dozen friends. They love it, but all of them are deeply disturbed by the lack of pants. Especially on the templar and witch. It's ok to start pants-less. But reaching 70+ with a witch/templar wearing a mini-skirt? Seriously?

I'm not some conservative weirdo. I just don't want my ARPG character to look like a cheap cabaret lady of the night. Too much to ask eh?

(vote for pants here http://www.strawpoll.me/5038443 )

PS: There used to be excuses for the lack of pants... GGG was a small studio, they had to focus on gameplay, they had to improve the art on more basic items first etc etc. It's been 4 years.
No more!

PS no2: Every time I try to convert people to POE, mainly people from its shallow, yet fancy competition, I get these kinds of comments - true story:

"Uh why don't you equip something in your leg slot man?"
"Didn't they have money for pants in this game?"
"I don't enjoy seeing a pants-less old man/barbarian while playing."
"Is flashing your private parts a thing in this game?"
"Is this a robe? My ex used to wear something like this, that's why we broke up"

your list is missing the most obvious thing... TRADING FIX
since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good
Scottish warriors, Roman soldiers, thermopiles, greeks.... At this time very few armors got pants because warriors need to move quickly. I wouldn't say they look like girls with mini-skirts....

So, I disagree they add pant armors, it wouldn't be much realistic when you look at armours.

I would like to vote against pants added into the game, but i can't on your vote, which seems quite biased.
He can trade pants with the Scion. No armor looks good on her because the blue pants and stockings keep sticking out.

Killing Merciless Malachai should unlock a secret wardrobe to change the style and colour of your leg-wear.
Marauder comes from a culture where nudity looks badass so no complaints there.

Templar, on the other hand, really needs a longer robe or something. I'm also not a fan how armor/es gear hugs his old man curves and gives him weird below-the-knee shorts.
We're all in this leaky boat together, people.
Apparently you haven't been reading the forum, but it's impossible to sustain a pants pool now. You can needle them to 20Q and keep rolling them but they just don't drop. At this rate nobody is going to have pants.

Are you saying that no pants are dropping in Wraeclast?

My good friend Tequila might be able to help ^-^

Pants are an illusion exile....

personally i found a certain charm in how one of my older witches used to run around in a white t-shirt, no pants, slippers, and a heavy metal helmet but it did look really silly lol.

the pants thing is still one of the weirdest aspects of this game to me. no other game ever has such a vocal pants activist community if one at all, but here, its a big damn deal. Just wish templar didnt look so much like hes wearing a diaper.

Right. Now google "Templar". Coincidentally also the name of the class.

At this time

There is "no time" in PoE. Something i've been told over and over when i've tried to play that card myself.

Scottish warriors

Were poorly equipped and usually got their asses handed to them by the Englishmen which had better equipment and armor. Also, just a "few" hundred years past the Roman empire era when you discuss Scottish warriors or Scotland as a whole.

Roman soldiers, thermopiles, greeks

True. But they typically protected the shin area.
