Why did you or your friend quit playing POE?

3 friends have quit from a combination of
1) steep learning curve 2) desync 3) just got bored The times where I've taken extra long breaks have been because the lack of things to do eventually. It's not the lack of builds or items to play with, just want more content is all. Which they're coming up with in A4 and Hall of Grandmasters. Have been waiting for new end game content since Atziri wasn't really something I cared a ton for. |

I've never cheated in games, so my opinion is probably far different than most.

1) high latency (there was a reddit post where developer stated a latin america gateway was going to be implemented until end of 2014 and that never happened)
2) FPS issues 3) Trading system. Trading is an ESSENTIAL part of the game. Great amount of items plus very low chance to drop some of them (one may NEVER drop a specific item) obligate you to trade with others if you want to "progress" and acquire what you want. But trading is also very TIME CONSUMING. Trading chat is a joke, poe.trade is hideous and after a time you get so tired of "muling" items that you are kinda FORCED to buy stash tabs unless you want to waste even more time and/or get mad and QUIT. |

honestly it just feels too much like d3. the main difference being that the d3 game engine is manyfold superior. i feel like they're getting away from what made poe great and unique.

1) no challenge at all, uber is a joke (unless you want to restart in a temp shitty league)

I had a friend quit because he died to many times without knowing why on his way from 90-91. Desync is tempting me to quit ive died twice in the last week in parties to corrupting blood knowing full well that its there and spamming staunching flasks to watch them do nothing and 1,2,3 dead.
