TPPKing was not true pking. That was a cowards game that only worked on weak characters. Real pkrs would hostile and hunt you down.


Hell I remember my friends Wolf druid. He got mocked and was told not to be invited to the party because wolfs suck. He hostiled that mouthy prick, chased him down and ripped him to shreds.

OooOh, the amount of butthurt crying that came after was the stuff of legends.. Great time.

Its things like that that made D2 fun. Maybe not for the mouthy prick but everyone in the game was laughing their asses off.

Was simply pointing out what the person you responded to was actually talking about which you chose to ignore. Although D2 was a great game, it was also had tons of problems. TPPK was one of those problems. The pure FFA loot system was also one in many players eyes.

As far as 'only worked on weak characters' that is bull shit. It just depends on how strong the character doing the pking was. A good blizzard sorc could kill just about anyone in a split second with blizzard unless they were stacking TONS of cold resist + absorb.

I would feel much better about a 'PvP' style loot system if we could actually... you know, PVP.

TPPK never bothered me. Big whoop I lose 1/4 my health. Only bad builds died to these things and seriously. Its laughable to say the least.

FFA loot system was great in D2. You need to stop thinking as it was a problem since. Since it really wasn't. The number of player who played prove you wrong in this case.

Meh... Bliz sorcs where not the best to Pk with. They where great duelers but not great Pkrs.

I mainly used Necros. So a pk Sorc with blizzard would feel the wrath of a million bone prisons and walls with invisible bone spirits. And in Diablo runs, Ball runs, blood runs there is not a lot of room to move in.


Besides, if a player did not have max res he was playing wrong. Anyone who got one shotted was playing wrong or built weak.

Didn't matter. They never made it past me with a sorc anyways.

Considering that you didn't even have a chance to react as the other player was in town... I don't think your bone prisons would do much good. You would hear the hostile sound and be dead with no enemies in sight. I have seen an entire thrown room (7 other players) killed in about 2 seconds from a single TPPKer using blizzard.

BTW not surprised you would PK with the most BM class in D2... fucking bone necro. Let me guess you spam decrep and clay golem on people. Real classy.

From your response it doesn't even appear that you know what TPPK was though...


As far as your 'max reists' do you even know what cold mastery did? In order to have max resist against a decent PK using blizzard you would need like 180% above max cold resist.
