The Trials in PoE2 are the worst.

The worst in chaos is like

A lot of shit modifiers

4 rooms later, oh its that boss, restart trial
No money until, GGG fix melee.

I have thousands of hours in ARPGs, tens of thousands of hours over decades of gaming.

Your trials mechanic is the literal worst thing I've ever fucking played in my life. I hate them. I hate them so so so fucking much that I dread interaction with it in PoE2 every season. Every time. It's so fucking unfun. 90% of your player base hates sanctum and trials, and for good reason. They are designed to be bullshit. It's not the challenge, it's wild expectations of gear to overcome the absolute dog shit nerf mechanics you're forced to deal with, especially Chaos.

I have never gotten 6 ascendency points in this EA run. I can't fucking stomach it, I just play half nerfed and then quit.

I have given GGG over $1,000 over the last 10 years. I've been to Exilecon.

I have not given you a dime since you released POE2 and made me suffer your fucking awful ascendency system, and you won't until it's made tolerable. God forbid I hope for fun.

I would literally do anything else than fucking sanctum and chaos. I fucking hate them and honestly fuck you for hiding power behind these mechanics.

Most useless feedeback ive witnessed in my life.

Next time try contributing wtih something thats actually constructive instead of just a pointless rant about nothing while trying to brag about how many thousands hours youve played and how much money youve spent while still failing to do a trivial challenge.

The trials are great, chaos perhaps abit boring but Sekhema especially is great.
They cant nerf them anymore for you because they are alredy so super easy and essentially trivial, and you also just have to do them once per trial.

He point is literally do anything than what are they doing right now.
I guess what this game is run on money, if he is one of the dudes that keep thaegame running losing him is a big long term loss.

And if you like it, great, pray that the 90% don't stop playing and that GGG doesn't find the game economically viable.

Because from the moment the game stops making them profitable, or they make the changes that the 90% wanted or they already lost then for competition.

And nowadays everything is more black and white than anything else.

If Path of Exile 2 isn't satisfactory, the competition will come strong.

And the guy who plays Diablo IV usually doesn't play Path of Exile because, as I said, everything is black and white these days; you take a side and defend it to the end.

I really hope blizzard make like a diablo v and it be really good, then we would see improvements in poe 2

Hilariously you have given absolutely 0 as well. The base game itself is buggy to the point of infuriation, and GGG isn't listening like they once did, they would prefer to shove microtrash down your throat. Happens to all gaming companies that started on good intentions. However, this is a viable argument, as the entire trial system is effed. Sure it is possible, but how many times did you pull your hair out to do it? Did you have to pay Divs to get it done? Only you know the truth to that.

The movement physics in the game have killed me and my characters more than any other part of the game combined. WASD is virtually useless until they fix the roll bug where you can roll to where you actually want to and not toward your cursor last minute effing you in the a in the end. Its such a small and simple thing, but it gets put on the back-burner because of money of course. Look at the Vaal temple mechanic, it is absolute dog sh because it feels completely rushed and where it is somewhat tolerable now with the update they put in, they still do not even begin to try and explain how it works for newbies, you basically have to sink in hours and hours of time into a temple build only to realize you effed yourself and you need hours and more hours to fix it.

Fix base game... I am tired of sticking to objects in the maps (which are TERRIBLY designed in POE2 btw, don't even get me started on the time sinks in act 2 just trying to find the right way...). Sure they are very pretty, but the layouts are horrid trash.

If you want a -true- state of the game, just watch the player count sink exponentially now that the season has started. If you look at any POE2 player counts, after the first week of a season they are literally halved in players (don't consider the free weekend they had, that will skew the view). I regret paying for this game and MANY other's I have spoken to do as well. They are on a sure path to this game crashing and burning at their present course.

FIX THE BASE GAME. And Trials should be optional.

Oh, and fyi, not that any of you trolls care, but I deleted the game today, ill check back in a year, if it's still trash then good luck GGG. And I know someone will say oh good riddance or wtf ever. Yeah but I represent a majority here, just watch the player base dwindle to nothing. If you like the game, then you should be upset that GGG is not fixing their biggest issues. Good day.

donkey issue.
It's baffling that they haven't addressed or even changed them across all 4 leagues. Surely, they can't think it's working as intended if most people hate them enough that they would rather pay someone else to run it for them, or not even play anymore because remembering they have to do them each league is that bad?

Ive given 0 what? You need to finish your thought before typing.
Hes made a post in the feedback forum that is just a rant with nothing constructive or specific about what he wants changed.
And ive given him feedback on his post that its entirely useless because theres nothing constructive or specific in it apart from him ranting about failing to do a trivial trial.

And somehow you see this as an opportunity to reply with a wall of text that "hilariously" has nothing to do with the trials but for some reason about everything else you dont like xD

Its the same thing on repeat every league. They release a patch, you try it, you realise you still havent magicly acquired the skills required to do the most basic and trivial trial that exists in the game. You give up, go to the forum to complain and cry about imaginary player numbers and telling people how you uninstall the game (but for some reason still spend your time replying on the forum).

They have changed them. The trials have been nerfed several times, now its at a point where you can no longer call it an ascendancy trial or challenge. Its just a trivial walk to go get your free ascendancy points.

And most people dont hate them. You just have a skewed vision because you spend more time reading the forum instead of playing the game and learning how to do the trial. The majority of people who are happy with it dont come to the forum to make posts about the trials. Thats why you think most people hate it when you spend all your time on the forum.
They don’t want nor have to elaborate on something that isn’t going to change.

I’ve got almost 6 level 90+ characters. I paid for ascendancies carries on 2 at level 20, the others I did myself. My druid I haven’t even bothered to do the 3rd/4th yet. It’s 85.

It’s not fun to pick from random horrible things simply to fully flesh out your character. Is it hard? Not really especially when you out level it. Frankly it feels like a masochist’s definition of “fun”. I’ve hated every minute I spent in both. I’ve carried friends whom after waiting for me to get to the end lose interest even after the carry.

It absolutely has deterred me from making many alts after .1. Especially any league alts. I don’t feel any semblance of entertainment when doing them, just “how can I do this the fastest/which horrible modifier is the least horrible?” the entire time and relief when I kill the last boss knowing I probably won’t touch it again for months. It felt very much worth the divine on my 2 characters I did pay for carries on to know I’d never have to set foot in either at level 20.
